@@Ryan-jc6we it is actually from the experience edition. Basically the 2011 remaster with a bonus disc. I have it. Beautiful art/package and precious bonus tracks just like this one.
This is why either buying the music or downloading it is the only way. Streaming, especially UA-cam is unpredictable. Lots of songs get deleted just like that. Plus, by having them in your pc it's easier to keep track of them.
It's just mindblowing the quality of the music they performed live. Almost no flaws in this song, it flows perfectly from start to finish and arguably better instrument quality than the studio recording. These guys are truly in a class of their own as the greatest band of all time.
Rick playing See Emily Play at the end brought tears to my eyes... even though I've heard the studio loads of times and a couple live versions, this one by far has the best instrumentals
It's pretty perfect. Just missing Dick Parry's amazing Saxophone.

Seeing and hearing this that night in Three Rivers Stadium as an 18 year old kid has never left me. We didn't know what it was but I remember that I couldn't speak when it was over. My life changed that nite............45 years ago, wow !!

God i freaking love pink floyd. Almost all of their songs have like 5 different versions you can listen to nowadays and all of them are great in their own way. Like this one for example, studio version, this version, Gilmour's acoustic version, the shows in 77... (sad that i never saw them live....)

This was performed before the release of the Wish You Were Here record. The band opened with this, You've Got to be Crazy (later Dogs) and Raving and Drooling (later Sheep). The band then took a break and came back and played Dark Side of the Moon. Ats least that is what happened when I saw it in 1974 in Denver, Colorado.
Pink Floyd music works better than a therapy for me. The quality, the memories, the shivers.... This live performance is a travel thru time and space, back to when i was a kid. LOVE PINK FLOYD FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!

Roger is a level 100 writer but a level 25 singer. Dave and Rick are the opposite. None of them would have been anything without the others.
Roger sings on this track and he sounds pretty good to me
This is so good. Alternate versions of their songs never cease to amaze. On the “Wish You Were Here: Immersion Edition” is a version of the title track that is just as haunting. Floyd is amazing.

Nick Mason was 5x better live. Holy shit he really hit his mark during these years. So much power, and groove.
I've come to believe that he is the most underrated drummer ever. It's not the technique, it's how original he was and the fact that he could really go with the flow with his drum fills, never missing the tempo. It adds a whole new dimension to the song. If you think about it, he is truly amazing

At the time is was probably an ego thing. They started breaking up during the recording of Wish You Were Here.
