- I am always on the hunt for things to paint and upcycle. I love the yogurt, but the jars are so cute! I managed to find lids to fit the jars! Now we have a fun thing to paint that is budget friendly and it will make a great gift or storage for those special little things. Come see how I did this mandala on bamboo. Store spices, coins, seeds, candy....endless possibilities.

Beautiful!. I agree about the perfection. If the "mistakes" can't be seen from 3 feet away they won't make any difference in the overall appearance of the piece. I just don't worry about them.

That is a great idea, and I like nothing better than to upcucle different things. I've painted rather large mandalas on the outside of cardboard oatmeal container. A friend bought one from me and gave it away to someone with a bottle of wine in it, like a wine bottle holder.

I love your work!! I have been looking for lids for these yogurt jars forever because I have at least 100 of them saved! I don’t like the plastic ones that oui sells! It’s super cool you found something that works! I wish you weren’t sold out!! 😔
I have more. I wasn't sure if they would sell. I was so excited to find them too!💕 I don't like the plastic either and I could not bear to throw out the jars. I will up the inventory 💕

Miranda, I just posted your video to my business page and boosted the post $$$$. I really love doing this dotting art and today you mentioned no mistakes. Well I have made many 🤣🤣🤣but I’m glad you inspired me that they are not mistakes. Let’s just say as a newbie, mine might be a little messy sometimes. I think the paint consistency is an issue with mine. I do have some Liquitex pouring medium I may try adding. I’ve bought some paints on Amazon and sometimes products can be sitting in the shelf too long. I will see if this makes a difference in consistency.

I love this one Miranda! We are repainting my 40 year old house (I'm 61) and I've decided since it's mine and I'm not leaving it I'm painting a big mandala starting in one corner of my bedroom and just let the dots multiply outward. I'm going to use template plastic to make my stencils for dots And then draw out my radiating lines and circles and I'm thinking go back and erase when I'm done? It's going to be interesting, wish me luck!

yes for regular mouth...but they do not seal as tight as they do on the yogurt jar
