Ollivander's Wand Shop at Universal Studios, Florida, November 23rd 2010. The line was THREE HOURS to get in to see Ollivander. They picked a great little wizard for the demonstration, though!

@Pikmeir This was taken with a Panasonic DMC-ZS3. It is a medium sized point & shoot camera that also takes video. The room was really dark, so I was glad it worked at all.

Is the wand that is "chosen" for you the wand you get to buy then? Or can you choose another?

They do it at any age pretty much. Ive know 20 years olds doing it. Hell I'm even 19 and I want it to happen. ;D

What kind of camera do you use? The quality isn't the best (probably due to the lighting) but it has a nice way of capturing color.

@MadameGothica I'm 24 and I want to do this. :P I've always enjoyed Harry Potter. If I get the chance to go I'd take my custom Hawthorn wand.

@PirateLuv32 yes, they might let that happen, but you are technically supoosed to do it in the age of 11 to then go to school, but then again, its not necassary.

They should really make it no flash photography kinda ruins the experience :/ at least when I was there people had the courtisy not to but some guys phone did go off but it was literally the second after the wandmaker said "lumos" ...like a boss
