the first time i went to universal my sister and i both got chosen to do the wand ceremony and it was so fun! it’s also cool that my wand isn’t just someone’s from the movies or books, it’s my very own!
Does not everyone get the same wand? It’s not that significant. You need to choose your wand in the real world, LMAO!

@Meme Supplier 64 there are. I went last week to Orlando’s Wizarding world and ended up choosing a black walnut wand with a dragon heart string core. There were so many in the group that were allowed in they chose a little girl for the wand selection ceremony. Pretty cool. Wish it was me lol but that kid is going to cherish that memory for years to come.

Ive been chosen many times, but my most memorable one is last year 2022. Me and my twin sister both got chosen and i loved the story he made for us! Its similar to Voldemort and Harry. My second wand ended up being her wand, and her second wand ended up being mine! Both of our cores were dragonheart string, but came from the same dragon! Super super cool storytelling. I love that they make it super creative.

@@ayehabdellatif1741Yes! They do pick random people but I think the wandkeepers try to go with guests that are either older kids or adults because the show definitely requires someone who can listen and comprehend well. I was chosen at 12 so I was able to do the show fine :))

I know how to get yourself a higher chance go be chosen, if you with other people make sure your in the front and in the persons view, stand up tall and try to draw a bit of attention to yourself! I went two days ago. They said only one member per party gets a wand so my family stayed as far back so my little cousin was up front. He ended up choosing me and her. It was so cool
I honestly don’t know why they let those they choose not get a free wand. I bet so many people are buying merchandise already. Wouldn’t hurt to give free wands to those who get chosen

Wands there have a specific IR tip used for scanning wand movements on certain locations of the theme park. That's why everytime you buy a wand, it comes with a map that show you places where you can cast spells.
I have watched many videos and almost all of them contained a ceremony with a Willow wand.
My ceremony had only Birch, Holly, and Reed which Reed is my wand
I got chosen and coincidently got chosen by a holly and Phoenix tail feather lol.

Do they do this at a certain time or do you just go to the ceremony whenever?
It’s whenever but they let a certain limited amounts of people go in at a time.
It's a constant line all day but get there early and it'll go smoother. when I got there before they opened it up, they were letting family / friend groups go in alone for a more personal experience. Once it gets to be a long line, they let approx. 20 people go in a large group.
