About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first UA-cam channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

Friends of ours visited their auntie. After helping me in my aviary with my birds they knew a little more about birds. At night auntie would leave a light on over her parakeets cage. They told her he has to sleep so for the first time she turned the light off. The next morning after it’s first good nights sleep it was chirping and happy. The auntie said she’d never heard him make those noises. Or see him move around so much. After seeing the blue nape hanging on the sides of the cage at night I honestly think they need a sleeping box. They also have sleeping hammock for birds too. ❤
Hearing the love and pain in your voice when talking about Ligaya was heart wrenching. I know how much you love that bird. I miss her too so much and I only knew her through your vlogs. I'm so thankful that you shared her with us. She made me fall in love with birds. I wasn't a bird person at all before I watched her grow from a tiny baby everyday. She is and forever will be with you. I also believe that our pets find their way back to us after we've lost them. Maybe that's why you received that bird that you weren't supposed to have. Maybe that was her finding her way back to you. Everything happens for a reason my friend. 😘❤

Loved the lamp which is the antithesis to the concept of ‘crabs in a bucket’. Tears of joy can live with tears of loss…..definitely was reliving Ligaya moments along side todays bonding with ‘yellow backed female’. You may need to start having an extra camera man for your aviary vlogging as so much happens so quickly and now so much more space to cover! Such abundance! ❤😂🦜🎥🙏🏽

Good evening, and welcome back once again! Hooray!!! We did it guys, we have made it to this stage of the birds in the aviary by flying freely! Now, I do have to admit that I was a bit nervous about these birds flying freely for the first time in the aviary, I just knew that these birds have always been well trained by you, and thanks to my inner self telling me to stay positive, and hope that nothing too bad will happen, even for just a small mistake like one of the blue-naped parrots up in the tree and almost plucking off the leaves at it's only a starter to flying freely; so, Congratulations on myself for remaining confident that all will go well! I'm proud of you how much you've studied some stuff about taking care of birds and training them too, so I do have to say, keep it up!

Dear Mikey. Can you have a cctv inside the birds sanctuary? So that even if you can't film them flying towards you and other mind-blowing experiences it will still be nicely documented. Thanks so much for the cool awesome videos with the birds!!

I absolutely agree that sharing is the best. My house is not as grand as yours but when we were looking I wanted a house that would be good for hosting people. It gives me great joy to be able to have people over and have the space for them to feel comfortable.

birds will do anything for food/treat so always have some extra especially if your going inside the Aviary let them come fly to you for some treat just say the word TREAT or if they try to bite/nip you? just say NO BITE 😂my babies🐦 know all this word and now 1 of your baby trust you🙏 you need to gain their trust to be able to land on you for food and use her as a model so all your babies🐦 eventually follow her and learned to trust you and it's easy to train a bird especially if you have food and lol! they will do anything for food/treat and it's good if you can teach them to sleep in the cage so they will learn that the cage is a sleeping and safe place to stay at night, Bird can easily freak out at night any movement/noise outside the Aviary is bad for them and you don't want them to freak out and fly all over the Aviary at night so i think it's easier if they can go back to the cage to sleep and play in the Aviary the whole day and they will learn if they got hungry they go back to the cage and eat

Would be really awesome if next time you open the cage door of the Blue-naped Parrots, the other two will start flying out and exploring, since the other two have now seen the younger female explore more of the aviary. The fact that she managed to fly up into the Talisay shows that she has quite the adventurous spirit.

You know, I also thought of how much Ligaya would have loved the aviary when I saw the bird in the tree (before seeing your clip of you after crying). But even when you were right in the city, you were able to provide her with outdoor experiences because Ligaya loved going for walks with you. She was so cute letting you put that little red harness on her. Honestly, those walks were probably even better than just staying inside a fancy aviary since she got to see different things happen each day. With pets, it's not really about how much money you spend on them and really more about the time that you spend with them that matters and makes them happy. But of course, your aviary is gorgeous and spacious and will be well used. I would like to know the names of all six birds. I think it would help us viewers get to know the birds.

I love when you play the cumbia music at the end of a happy video. I totally understand how you feel about your parrot coming out of the cage, standing on your arm, eating from your hand, flying up to the tree and coming back to you! Each one of these would have been a breakthrough and you got it all in 1 day!! I'm going the same with my new GCC that I got when my 31 year old Nanday died in June. Jasper let's me scratch his neck and head but he has bitten me on the lip and on my neck so we have a long way to go still

Wow! It's such a gift to see your house becoming a home. So cool to finally see a bird in the trees!! It would be fun to have a camera in the aviary to see what the birds get up to when your gone! Especially once they have free range.
Mikey, a suggestion… sit and monitor the blue naped after a feed, have with you a zip lock bag and a cotton swab. when you see the bird with the poor feather quality and bald spot by her eye do a poop, reach in and take the sample with the swab, place in baggie and send to bird vet, along with photos of her progression from when she arrived till now. I would also include a detailed description of what and how you feed them. Maybe also pic’s of the other two for comparison. Kind of like a video consultation. If their is any question in your mind that she is not doing as well as the other two, go with your gut.

That was so amazing to watch the birds interaction w/u, n then the female landing on u at 1st was great. But I think her then coming to u from the tree was really shocking n so special to see, she's definitely gonna b the teacher n the group👏👏 n it also reminded me they don't have names yet😥 All the new furniture pieces r gorgeous, n the dining table is stunning but I think a long low floral arrangement maybe even something on a piece of driftwood would tie all the natural elements n & around the house to the table would take it to next level, just a thought though cuz RJ n u have done a great job thus far 😉💞

And there goes the first stem of the first plant. I have so many plants in my house when I got my parrots and now...not a single one. They ate them all. So excited to see them exploring their new space. I think Mikey has a new girlfriend. A gorgeous one at that. No jealousy allowed RJ.

You may want to think of placing curtains around the glass of your aviary. Since you will be opening your house for guest, putting a curtain will give the birds protection from the noise specially at nights when you have a gathering. It also helps in minimizing the noise from your living and dining room from getting into the aviary and also the lights during the night when you have guests.

That Lampe reminds me of the Castellers de Vilafranca in spain. A cultural and sporting event where they build human towers 😊 He makes so many cool things, that looks good and when you get closer it also tells a story 🥰 I cried with you and remembered the walks and the tree as well 🥹

YES, sharing is so much more fun! My husband and I put a pool and a fire pit in our back yard last year so our family and friends could gather in a big group. It was wonderful summer, we had loved ones here almost every day.

OMG I'm going emotional when the female blue naped parrot managed to be free on its own and fly to the tree and lands on you Mikey! That female blue naped parrot has trust in you now. But as the following days, weeks, months come, they will trust you more and more until they trust you alot until they make you like your their parent/caregiver.
