Places to eat in Japan in Dotonbori, Namba Osaka - You’d like to try wagyu, but you are on a budget. Then this is the episode for you. I’m going to show you how to have an entire wagyu meal for 1,000 Yen, which comes to $6.60 at the current conversion rate when making this video.
We visited Sukiyaki Hokuto in the Dotonbori area of Osaka. This restaurant has a set menu for wagyu, whether it is sukiyaki or beef bowl. If you’ve never tried sukiyaki, watch this video and prepare yourself for an amazing dining experience.
I was originally going to have just the 1000 Yen Sukiyaki Set (regular). But I saw they offered a Special Sukiyaki Set, with wagyu that looked amazing. So I decided to get both and show you a couple different options.

Which one better ? Special sukiyaki wagyu ¥ 1900 or regular beef ¥ 1000 ? For udon any additional charge ? Rice free flow ? How about beverages include the price ?
Not too much difference, so would get the 1000 yen meal. There is additional charge for udon, but the rice is free refill. And there is water at the table, but you have to purchase drinks. If you get a chance to visit, have a fun time!

It was large, but perfect amount of food for one person. We had udon, so it made it more filling. But if you just get the meat, females should be able to finish. Thanks for watching.

Sorry we don't know the answer to that question. But my guess would be that, since they offer unlimited rice with the meal set, the meal set is for one person only.
