Driving around on Camano Island

Dashcam - Mini 0806 in 2560x1080 @ 30fps. Original bitrate 20Mbps, UA-cam cuts it down to 9Mbps so a lot of the detail is lost on UA-cam in the trees and shadows. Still best to watch in 1440p.
First stop is the Iverson Spit Water Preserve. There is limited parking here, but probably my favorite public spot on Camano Island due to it never being overly crowded. Great place for hiking, bringing the dog, or just relaxing on the water. There are plenty of 'sandy mixed with small rocks' areas, but still not ocean beach type sandy.
2nd stop is the boat launch area of Camano Island State Park. Nice picnic area to watch the boats and also a great spot for clam season. The beach is covered in clams. Very rocky, so not the best place to walk at on the beach.
3rd and final stop is the trails/picnic area of the park. Decent parking and many trailheads to choose from. Also 2 access points down to the water. Again, very rocky.

Cool video! I've not been to Camano Island - I need to do more exploring of that whole North Sound area. The girlfriend and I stayed on Guemes Island a few months ago and that was really pretty, but we still have to get to Deception Pass and we've only been to the San Juans a couple times.
