Never thought I would say this but with what they've been pumping recently, my dream car is a Hyundai. Especially the concepts 🔥
I went to look at a 2022 i30N like a week ago, which is probably why this is still in my recommendations. And I gotta say, the panel gaps were so bad, I actually asked if the car had ever been in an accident. Turns out, it was brand spanking new and came fresh from the factory floor. Add to that the paint quality, or rather lack there of and you are left with a car that has worse fit and finish than a 1965 Fiat 126 from Poland.... The interior is equally as unimpressive. The standard seats especially are an insult to comfort. The drivetrain is great and I really like the way it drives, but If they wanna charge 45k, I expect a bit more polish...

how's the chassis handling? AND importantly also the steering feedback? is it numb? all the cars you mentioned they are great cos they are connected.. almost raw, and thats why they delight.
Raw steering? My 74 BMW 2002 tii fully built and tuned without power assist steering was a “Raw” beast!

When/if you get a chance, try a Type R for a stroll one day. It's a vastly different experience than a Si.
Hyundai has really evolved, they are not afraid to push new boundaries & the new N line shows that. They are the only car company still catering to the car enthusiasts, they are even saving the manuals. Other manufacturers have sports cars but only one out of their line up is a sports car. These guys are spreading it across multiple models which is incredible. Good job Hyundai!

I heard it gets better time than mx5 or 86 on some tracks in Korea. I'd never thought I would want to try to ride a Hyundai, especially for a rwd head.
Test drove one today and I have to say automakers really need to up their game because Hyundai and the N branch are going above and beyond the expectations and I was truly surprised on how much I liked the driving experience. Good job everyone who made this car.

I feel like this is definitely marketing to combat the new civic type r reveal.
I'm looking forward to trading my 2017 model for the 2024 N model. The local dealership want to charge me $7,000 down for the SEL model w/o a trade in.(he bumped his head. I didn't want that, I want the N!) I'll wait for it to release this fall. I'm determined.

Love the commercial!! But it’s time we the customers get more than 300hp out of a heavy FF 2wd vehicle. I own an 2022 Elantra N and want more! Add aluminum hood and front fenders. Use the 2.5L and bump it up to 380-400 hp. Plus Awd. Keep the DCT 8sp and the 6 sp manual as an option.
Just tune your car man. Get some bolt ons and there's your 380HP to the crank
man wants 380 hp out of a 2.5L on a 30k car, you might get that with an amg or audi's 2.5L 5 cylinder but not at this price point dawg, just tune the car
Since you can get 500 hp out of a completely tuned 1.6 G4FD turbo GDI engine. then it’s definitely possible to get 380-400hp out of a 2.5L Theta 3-Turbo GDI engine? It’s more then capable of making that kind of horsepower factory. That’s before more aftermarket tuning is applied later on. 😁👍

Ever driven a modern performance FWD? The lap times speak for themselves.

Hyundai, lets say Walmart comes out with a beautiful handbag for the ladies. Top notch quality, materials, and looks beautiful. One catch it says Walmart on the purse. Would your female executives want that or a Louis Vuitton bag. The walmart bag is only 20% cheaper.
Yea so I think the biggest problem for your vehicles is Hyundai. You need a sport divison with a completley different name. Look at how well Genesis has done, I don't even think of Hyundai when I see those and that's a good thing .
It's way more than 20% cheaper because all the European sports sedans have basically nothing included for the MSRP. You will spend another 20% in options, so basically you're buying 1.5x or 1.8x an Elantra N by the time you get all the tech goodies.
