Did you have any lights on the dash, due to the wheel bearing? I have abs, traction, stop on the dash, which comes on and off randomly, power steering, Speedo not working and opening the door whilst stationary makes a beep as if I'm moving! The garage says all the wheel speed sensors are working fine and gave it back to me, telling me to see an auto electrician. The front wheel is rattling and there was a grinding sound for a couple of days which disappeared now, i also hit a kerb quite hard a few months ago, i was thinking it might be the wheel bearing or reluctor ring might be damaged?! Grinding noise may have just been debris caught in the brake caliper/pads.. no lights due to the wheel bearing, abs light was on a few days after the job as you have to remove the abs sensor to do the bearing and they usually break upon removal…. This puts two lights on the dash abs amd the traction. Can’t remember if it was saying STOP too it may well have been. If you get a cheap obd scanner you will be able to scan for codes which should help you locate the problem…. Not sure on the power steering or beeping issue but again a scan tool would help .. cheers
Sounds like you have water in yer electrics. Remove yer scuttle panel & make sure yer drain plugs are clear, otherwise water gets in through yer cabin filter n makes its way down to yer floor n makes the electrics go haywire. If yer front wheels are clicking its prolly yer cv joints.
Side of bearing which have plastic ring and magnets for abs sensor is going i to inner part?
On outer is metal ring for protection
