Love how dramatically the video editing has improved. If you go with some crown mounding you could paint that the same color as the walls it would add some texture and detail to the space and make the ceiling feel higher.

Absolutely love the makeover!! The colour is so soft and relaxing. I'd keep the trim white, it's a beautiful contrast.
Gorgeous! I love that you're sitting on the bedside tables, I know you've wanted new ones for a long time and waiting for the right ones is the best choice. I also think adding some moulding detail will be a great upgrade you'll love. A couple ideas as you sit with it: keep an eye out for pictures frames as you're thrifting because sometimes the picture is right but it just needs a better frame; and while I love the painted trim around the TV, what about a stained wood shaker style frame to match the bed and mantle? Also your hair looks beautiful in the reveal shots!

10/10 recommend painting trim and doors the same colour as the walls. It seems scary- but so worth it! I've done it to every room in my house now.

The Bedroom Makeover turned-out Amazing! Have you guys thought of building the bedroom side tables; since Andrew Did a Great Job building the Headboard/Bed-frame? 🙏🏾💖💐
I also let my dogs on my bed - so what I do to help protect the mattress is I put a fitted plastic sheet down directly on the mattress (you can buy them pretty much anywhere if you think to look for them). This should help to keep the dog stains off your mattress and extend the life of the mattress by helping keep the sweat and dead skin from making its way into your mattress as well. After the plastic layer I make my bed as normal.

You can use your washer to dye things, add 1cup of white vinegar to set the dye , when finished. just run a full load of water. with some detergent and bleach to clean your washer
Great job on the bed 20 years ago my husband built us the bed frame with 4 x 4, one by fours plywood two by twos and then we stained it that dark same walnut and we’ve never needed another bed. We have just bought mattresses but I never had a headboard because the bed is against the window, I’ve always wanted one but then will be blocking the window. It’s fine but really nice.

Keep the trim white. It's a perfect contrast right now, that makes the color more inviting. I would be careful about the warm white light bulbs. Just realize, it will change the appearance of your paint color to a more yellowish color. Try a natural daylight bulb.

Another great job. May I suggest getting new mattings for some of the pictures. I think you would like the picture above your bed if the matting was different. The picture itself is actually very nice, but like you, in its current condition, I am not a fan. Michael's, in the USA, is suppose to be a relatively reasonable place to get matting cut to the right size for a more custom looking art piece. (Hopefully, you have that store in Canada or something similar) On your fireplace mantle, you have two pictures with crisp matting.(Both look very good) Maybe choose either white or green, like those pictures, for the artwork that looks old/dated. Keep up the great work. BTW: I'm a fan of a fur baby on the bed too.
Agree 100 percent. The current mat seems yellow. Definitely change to a darker mat in the color range of the walls.
Great room renovation! I just about "died" when I saw the dye go all over your beautiful new bathroom tile. OMG, how did you clean that up??!! 😮😮
I still sleep on a box spring. I didn't even realize it was so out of fashion when my mom got an adjustable serta bed. I think you can still buy them if you want more height. I just found out you can get a protective cover for your mattress and box spring to help keep always pest like bed bugs and dust mites.
Love the color on the walls. I gave up on color on my walls because I struggle to find one that looks the way I want it to. If you want to help keep your mattress clean you should try using a waterproof mattress cover (they are not the old crinkly sounding waterproof ones). We have used them for years and our mattress still looks brand new and you can just toss them into the wash every month or so. Definitely worth the investment.
That’s so funny you guys had the bed the wrong way and had no idea. The bedroom looks great. I was a little sad to see the TV frame painted the same color as the wall, I liked the idea of it matching the big picture and frame you got.

So my bedroom was like a mustard color for years I’m getting older now and I decided to go bright white so I did bright white with a full wood background on one wall and all the face is black matted so pretty so in the dining room, I did all white black matted trim, and that green that you used I used on a cabinetso it looks really nice like a pop of color in a white room

You can also use over the counter hydrogen peroxide to spot clean. You don't need to rinse it.

Using oxalic acid, via hardware stores, will remove dark spots on wood.
genuine question but why dont you guys use mattress protectors? I let my dogs sleep in my bed and we have one. never had to wash the mattress and it looks brand new. The mattress protector is waterproof and you can wash it in the washer
