Holy cow! The skill and knowledge involved in this blows my mind. Andrew talks with a ‘no big deal’ tone when it’s anything but that! You both are crazy talented.
me: no where near buying my own home and has no skills that could possibly do any of this work. also me: watched video in its entirety, completely invested. 😂
You guys do such amazing work. Everything is so beautiful. I really enjoy watching the videos. I like how your husband explains everything very clearly I like how you guys show us how to do stuff correctly. I really like that I’ve shared your videos for quite a few people that are having to be renovating at the time and they’re enjoying the videos ❤❤
Wow!! Just wow! I’ve so enjoyed the whole series and seeing all the hard work and skills both of you put into everything. I know I joked a lot about the blue toilet, but unless you were doing a restoration and keeping the style of a 1960’s house, what you did was so beautiful. Looking forward to following your future projects!
Great job, but I really like your dogs! When she started whining, I thought it was one of mine😆 I was happy to see that she was able to get and sit with her daddy😊
Our house is built on a slab. So, very similar to your basement. When we renovated our master bath I really wanted to put underfloor heating in because I knew how cold it was going to be with a cement and then the tile. Did y'all consider doing underfloor heating in the basement Reno? Or did you decide well most of the time we're going to be in shoes or in the summer we're gonna be barefoot and it won't matter. I think your breakdown information is just so helpful. As always, y'all have done a fantastic job. Standing O from me!
Loving everything! And can’t believe this part is done! It all turned out wonderful! Andrew, your skills are so incredible! And Sabrina you eye for style is amazing! Congratulations on this finished space! Enjoy it! Looks like the perfect cozy spot for movie nights!
Great info. Very interesting. Thank you. It sure was a lot of work but it turned out so beautiful. Hope you have tons of fun in your new awesome basement!
My house isn't very old at all (I'm older than this house) the basement thankfully is already where I want it to be. Also me: Watching so closely hanging on all the details ☺️
Absolutely gorgeous job, but the star of this vlog was Aspen🐶 On average, how many days a week would you work on the basement and how many hours a day?
She is the star!! ⭐️ from about August till November we worked on it almost everyday 3-6 hours a day I’d guess? The whole project feels like a blur though since it took so long to complete 😂 we went many weeks without working on it at all
Hi - this is a fantastic overview and I'm glad to hear you're in Ontario Canada! A question - how many SF is your basement? I'm trying to figure out the per square foot cost... Thanks again!
I usually watch this but I’m on limited data because of power cut and cyclone in my area. Can anyone give my a gist? Not that I’ll need it in the foreseeable future but just outta curiosity

So true
He’s amazing
As a severely disabled woman at 33 I love(!!!) how accessible the bathroom is ❤❤❤
me: no where near buying my own home and has no skills that could possibly do any of this work.
also me: watched video in its entirety, completely invested. 😂
No but why is this me!!😂
As someone in Ontario with an unfinished basement, the video has everything someone needs to get started. Thanks
I’m so glad to hear that! Thanks for watching!

you gave just so much life to this house - and it seems to keep going and going! thanks for this breakdown! 😊
You're awesome :-) I just love how simple, natural and transparent you both are. This is truly refreshing.
Great job, but I really like your dogs! When she started whining, I thought it was one of mine😆 I was happy to see that she was able to get and sit with her daddy😊
sabrina your hair is totally on point here
Thanks for noticing 💁🏻♀️ freshly washed
While the transparency is certainly appreciated, $3k for a sink cabinet is insane. The whole basement looks amazing, though
You and your husband did an awesome job. I'm so glad you did everything on video. Gave me a lot of ideas. Keep up the good work.❤❤
Thank you so much! ❤️
It was actually cheap due to the amount of DIY done. Good job.🎉
Looks awesome. You guys remind me of me and my husband doing projects together.

Thank you so much!! We considered it for the bathroom but because it wouldn't be our primary bathroom we opted to not ❤️

Great info. Very interesting. Thank you. It sure was a lot of work but it turned out so beautiful. Hope you have tons of fun in your new awesome basement!
Reno looks amazing! Love it, thanks for sharing! 🤗
Thanks for sharing this!
Are there any renovation channels on UA-cam that aren't out of Canada?

Thank you for thinking about accessibility!!
It is SO important!
Talk of money bores Aspen... Someone please throw a ball!
Can't wait for the next project 😍
that price is really not that bad at all all things considered, and it's definitely worth the investment i'd say
What software did you use for the drawings? From what I tried out so far, they’re all terrible and finicky.

@@aspenackley Thanks!! It may seem like it took a long time, but considering it was mainly just the two of you, that was fast!

What platform did you use to design your space? Great video by the way and thanks for sharing.😀
