Mate, this got my adrenaline pumping as I fish for this magnificent adversary on the Nepal side and understand their sheer power at the end of the line. Fantastic video and keep them rolling in 👍👍
Magnificent production. Who thinks of Bhutan as a fly fishing destination? Great to see a place where those magnificent golden mahseer still exist and can be caught on fly. The hospitality of the river people is also great to see.
Bhutan is also a great country for flyfishing for trout whether you fish in the river or high lakes. Fishing for mahsheer on a fly rod is indeed more challenging. But casting a fly on a shoal of resting fish on a confluence of two rivers does not look challenging. It's just too easy. Nevertheless, I loved the video and the smiles on their faces when they land the catch of their lives. Cheers !
Amazing! I have never seen so many Mahseers in one place in the river before. I guess it is due to government's protection policy. In the rivers of Nepal, we barely find a Mahseer in a week's fishing trip.
I totally understand the excitement - have caught a 28 lb one myself in Pangbang. But yes you need to get your license permits before you indulge in the wonderful sport.
Amazing footage and fantastic editing you guys deserve more views & subs. Great to watch this video as I’m planning to go fishing in India in December!

Those villagers were Bhutanese with Nepalese orgin as they were speaking Nepali languages.
And most probably singing gojima dam chhaina😃
Yes some of them were, but others were also easterners that mainly speak Sharchop
Come to Myanmar. You can catch new species Mahseer. Discover in Myanmar. You can contact my Northern Buga Facebook Page.
Please don't hunt them🙏
