I’m an avid fly fisherman, flyfishing guide, photographer, film maker and conservationist. If I had to hang my hat anywhere in the world, it would be where I live on the remote atolls of the Seychelles. Living where I do comes with obvious perks, not least of which is access to the incredible fisheries on my doorstep. I have been lucky enough to be the first to fly fish and guide trips to numerous of the now well-known outer atolls of the Seychelles. Many would call it pioneering, but I see it as school fees. My time spent exploring the Indian Ocean has allowed me to become an ambassador for the Giant Trevally (GT) and in tune with how best to guide for these powerful adversaries. The years I’ve spent exploring, promoting and establishing the remote atolls of the Seychelles as the world’s best saltwater fly fishing destination have been the best years of my life.

What weight rod were you using?
I have been using my disco crab since 2006 or so for permit, bonefish, garoupa, GT etc.
Cool video, thanks for the work. I understand how difficult it is to shoot and fish at the same time!) We were in Taimyr this year, there were phenomenal results on Arctic char. The largest we had was 93 cm. I also shot a little there, I will try to post a video from our trip in a month.

Bhutan is also a great country for flyfishing for trout whether you fish in the river or high lakes. Fishing for mahsheer on a fly rod is indeed more challenging. But casting a fly on a shoal of resting fish on a confluence of two rivers does not look challenging. It's just too easy. Nevertheless, I loved the video and the smiles on their faces when they land the catch of their lives. Cheers !

Hi,, I got one day char in Canada... I have no idea tht was char after only I know tht was char.... I think ur guys made dragons gold.. it was one of the best masher catching movie...then I wish catch a masher.. last year I paid for trip unfortunately COVID everything canceled.. finally I got chance go this year October 8 th for week...I got local people there..😊

Amazing! I have never seen so many Mahseers in one place in the river before. I guess it is due to government's protection policy. In the rivers of Nepal, we barely find a Mahseer in a week's fishing trip.
Yes dai, I thought the same. We have Masheers in Nepal but not concentrated as that in Bhutan.

Magnificent production. Who thinks of Bhutan as a fly fishing destination? Great to see a place where those magnificent golden mahseer still exist and can be caught on fly. The hospitality of the river people is also great to see.
