The Leche Flan is made of evaporated milk, condensed milk, sugar and eggs :)
Traditionally Filipinos add lime rinds to cut the eggy smell/taste but people very rarely do that these days. My mum still does it though, sometimes she even uses lemon rinds when she doesn't have any lime.

I'm Filipino from L.A. My grandmother used to make the best flan. The trick is in the stirring of the liquid before it goes in the oven. You have to stir slowly in one direction, otherwise, if not stirred properly it will have craters.
Love your mukbang. Love your family. Good vibes! Woohoo!

You’re my favourite mukbangers! You guys are so lively and I never get bored. I watch through the whole thing. Such a sweet family. I wish we could be friends in real life. I love you guys! Also, other Filipino foods to cook at home or try: okoy, filipino breakfast (personally i love tocilog), nilaga, palabok, lomi, ariz caldo, sopas. If you guys could get your hands on some Jollibee do so! It’s a fast Filipino food chain and it’s amazing.
    Again, I love you guys.

Also, there's a sauce where you mix
Vinegar, spy sauce, chillies and lemon and it goes so well with the eggplant. We usually have it with fried fish as well! Sorry for being so excited :))) and most filo foods are paired with rice so they are pretty salty, I'm so glad you guys eat it properly cause some
      Just eat them alone

The crispy pata usually comes with a dipping sauce made of a mixture of soy sauce and vinegar (sometimes sugar) and chopped raw red onions. It may be why it tasted bland, though even without the sauce it should have had flavor.

Love your family trying filipino food. We filipinoes love our dipping sauce. The black sauce is a combination of soy sauce and vinigar which is very good with any fried food. See that you havent touch it make me a little sad. Thats good with crispy pata. You add a little salt to taste but its really good with the dipping sauce. Thanks and hope our food make its way to your happy family’s hearts.

If you want to cook most filipino food, you can go to a filipino store and find packets of powder that pretty much helps you out in cooking (it adds the flavor of the ingredients that aren't easy to get like tamarind) and it shows the procedure there too. Try pork sinigang and beef kaldereta.
Also try to get a "Mang tomas" it's an all purpose sauce for anything fried filipino food. You could also use it in egg and the eggplant omelette.

Here's a tip in making the eggplant omelet. Instead of baking the eggplant, grill it and peel it when cooled before putting the spices and adding the eggs. Fry in very little oil because eggplants tend to absorb too much oil.
