We have an EPIC one for you guys today! Today we FINALLY take the fl5 to the track and get to see what this thing can do. The fl5 surprised the HECK out of me and i'm so happy. definitely makes me want to track this thing so much more. At the end of the day, we traded the fl5 for a 992 gt3 touring and got to drive my first ever 992... let's just say it was life changing.

Amazing video. If you haven’t tried it yet, when loading up your Type R to go to the track, leave the back seats up and put your track tires side by side in the back seat. I fit a set of four 275 wide tires on 18x9.5 wheels in my FK8 and now my FL5 this way. I put a moving blanket down first to protect the seats. Then the entire trunk is empty for tools/gear/clothes. I also put a folding chair sideways across the floor of the back seats. Keep the FL5 track content coming!

A exporting tip that you didnt ask for. Export your videos in 4k and it wont get hit so hard by the youtube compression. Love the vids but I can tell UA-cam is killing the quality. This is a tip Peter Mckinnon mentioned years back to handle the compression. Loved this video as usual D! Keep killing it dude.

My “race car hotel” was the back seat of my pick up truck, or even in someone’s car hauler lol. I was spoiled when dad was around, I’d let him flip the bill for a hotel (and sometimes my tires hehe).

Man yes the 911 GT3 is amazing, but what a freakin bargin experience with the Type R both in the FK8 and FL5 forms as a daily driver, track capable fun haver with minor mods. Kudo's to Honda and the aftermarket community.

Crazy timing. Wife and I sold my TT 370z a couple weeks back to a private buyer, and we’ve wanted to get a Porsche 718 GTS, GT4 or 911 GTS to have fun on the backroads and tour inter-state with.
Don't trade or sell the fl5 such a great car. Continues the good work and tanks for the great video's. We need to see the gtr 32 or r33 i love these cars 😊

Anyone else miss when he focused on one or two builds at a time... Dustin seems so all over the place now. Got Chaser, got Porsche, the second Porsche, the 280 that's so sporadic in uploads might as well just axe it as content, what about the S2K? R32? Whatever even happened to the second AE86? Dustin was the first youtuber I subscribed to and I miss when he had an actual journey with the build until it was concluded and then went to updates on COMPLETED builds here and there but a lot of his builds lately are left unfinished/incomplete and then a splurge of updates outta nowhere. Back then it was focused and he enjoyed every single mod as it progressed.
