Well I mean Niall has a point, it takes most bands about 10 to 20 years to get back together. Why does everyone expect 1D to get back together when they've only been separated for about 4, almost 5 years. I know they said they were only going to be gone 2 or so years, but honestly, why in the world was everyone so convinced on that. I'm enjoying them having fun with their individual solo stuff and being happy and not so stressed out. I mean I would like to see them reunite, but not at the expense of their own personal happiness and mental health. Whenever it happens, I'm there. Until then, I like watching them develop as individual musicians, and they are all doing fantastic at that. It's unusual for all the members of a band to be successful at their solo work when a band splits, but when has 1D ever been usual.
Candace Garrett I think we all think that they will get back together so soon because their 10 year anniversary. As a directioner we just miss them so much and of course we love their solo career’s but we miss their music together. I personally also miss their funny moments and them being on stage together.
Exactly! They surely get tired of the numerous questions about it. As you say, they are flourishing as solo artist and simply do not have the time (or the desire) to perform together as a group at the moment. They will; eventually.......however for now, lets just enjoy the great music they are giving to the world. I for one, am a recent fan and have lots of 1D videos and songs to familiarize myself with, as well as their new music. Love these boys with all my heart. They have turned into the nicest, well adjusted, young men. So rare....especially in the music industry. Wishing them all the best forever and ever.
I absolutely agree 100% I have seen Niall more than i the band and I'm loving it but yeah whenever 1D come back I'll be there to continue supporting them but yeah I agree their doing well right now and it seems like they still want to get more solo albums Niall has 2 albums, Liam as well and Louis barley released Walls which is art.

Honestly, I feel like if the hiatus goes longer than a few years, it's a break up. And there isn't anything wrong with that. They went about the same length as most boy bands. And they are happy and loving what they are doing now and still producing music for us as individual solo musicians. I'm fine with a break up if that's what it takes to make them happy, less stressed, and keeps them making music. I would hate for them to burn out and be so miserable at what they do and miserable at life in general. I want them to be happy. So if that means a break up, that's fine. Now we can just wait on them reuniting. Most boy bands do, and when it happens it will be epic. And honestly, I wouldn't even expect them to reunite so soon. The general trend is usually no sooner than 10 or so years, they've only been gone for almost 5 years. Let them explore their individual music. I'm really loving all their individual stuff.
