I was looking for some information on Ichetucknee Springs, and I was hoping to find a video by Art of Adventure, and sure enough! I know that they put out great videos, with a lot of great, useful information. Thanks .... exactly what I was looking for.

That is a lot of great info. We live in Florida and tube regularly so we invested in good tubes. If you do bring your own tube, purchase a nice pump to be able to pump it up in the parking lot. Also, if you rent a Kayak, check the bottom for cracks/leaks. We had to help a couple that rented one that took on so much water internally, they had to sink it on the shore. They workers will drag the kayaks up and down the launch area and that eventually will wear a hole. One more thing, if you rent a Kayak, you park your car at the South entrance, check in, and they give you a wrist band that is included with your kayak rental. They bus you to the head spring and you kayak to the south take out. You get to use your wrist band to get on the tram to get back to your car. If you brought your tube and kept it in your car, you can inflate it and the use the wrist band to utilize the tram and get more bang for your buck!

I remember my first time going to ichetucknee springs with our church youth back then you had to chop your way through with machetee and you could put your drinks and food in cooler and float it behind you to the halfway point where you could eat lunch. all the litter bugs messed all that up though. there was no fee at all now its all messed up...
Ich is still very nice. I would’ve liked to see it back then tho.

I grew up in Branford so I have been there many times back in the 1970’s it was private and didn’t cost anything but was not as clean as you could take cooler’s and trash was just thrown anywhere but so much fun only locals went

I love this video...so wished I had found it before my first visit to Iche it took me months to figure this all out ahead of time before we drove 2.5 hrs!😂We had such a blast and so much fun we did the lazy river run twice! We are new to the area and tubing Iche is the funnest thing we've done since we moved here 3 years ago. 🥰💖🥰

We've been wanting to also tube the lazy rivers at Rainbow and Ginnie Springs, do you also have a Cheat Code video for tubing Rainbow and Ginnie Springs lazy rivers? We've been a little nervous about tubing these bc this all brand new to us, luckily we did the Iche lazy river with a friend who had at least kayaked it once before!🥰

@@artofadventurepascalemo I have a question... and I am not sure if it is true or not but I heard you have to be a pretty strong swimmer to get off at the end of the lazy river tube run at GINNIE SPRINGS so you dont keep getting pulled down the river? Is that true? (and/or is Rainbow the same way?) y 78 year old mother and her 74 yr friend and I loved tubing Iche when we went in May and they both did ok but hearing this made me a little nervous! What do you think?

I really like that lock. Just used it at Ginnie this past weekend. I really need to take the Jeep off roading but I haven’t yet. It’s definitely on my list tho.

I have a couple of questions.
1. When tubing, I saw you mentioned you could get out and swim and check things out below the surface - How or where can you get back on your tube? Are there shallow enough areas to get back in your tube?
2. You mentioned to keep your receipt - Would it be for after you're done tubing (while parked at South) and you wanted to go to the North and swim at the head? Did you drive your car from South to North entrance? What if park (North) is at capacity, (you have receipt from south) will they let you in?

Hi! Good questions thank you! The water is not incredibly deep, but not quite shallow enough to stand up and get back on the tube. I usually just sort of pull myself back up on the tube. Probably not the most graceful move ever, but not that hard to do 😅 Yes the receipt will allow you to move from parking lot to parking lot. As long as u paid to get in once that day, capacity hasn’t mattered previously. I don’t believe that’s something that’s changed. I hope that helps! Ich is one of my all time favs! Have a blast 🙌
I went to the dealer and had a blank vehicle key made that will only unlock the door and put it behind the tag with the tag bolt. Will set off the alarm but the other key is left where i can get to it to turn it off

Okay so one question that you brushed on but I've never seen directly answered... When you pay for the tram, can you take it up to the Midpoint Launch as many times as you want? Or is it like at Rainbow Springs where you pay for only one float down the river? Ideally, I would love to go down the river and take the tram back to the top about 3 times, but I don't know if that's allowed/monitored.
You can float as many times as you want!!!
