Under the advanced settings, my “add” button is grayed out. I cannot select it. Is there a way around this?

These might be disabled by your administrator. You can also try adding using the 'New' button under outlook. Goto Files ->Account Settings and under 'Email' tab, you might will 'New' button. If that is also greyed out then this is disabled by your administrators.
