It depends on how they were raise\catechized. There was (still is?) a huge problem in Greece with people leaving for Pentecostals and JWs. It' because they only know externals. The church failed them.
The same thing happens with Catholic cradles here in America, and most cradle Protestants (excluding hyper biblically-literate ones). I look at all the educational programs and catechisms available and wonder, how can they grow up in a church/denomination and know nothing about it? Then I realized many only came to mass/worship occasionally, and their lukewarm parents never lived, let alone TAUGHT the faith at home despite all the resources available. Instead, their parents chased the almighty dollar and taught their children to do the same. Other times their parents did teach/try to live the faith and did involve their children in various programs, but it went in one ear and out the other because the child never chose to care, as is their God-given right. In my anecdotal experience, parents were more often lazy and spiritually weak, than actively trying to live and pass on the faith and failing.

I became a cathecumen of the Holy Orthodox Church because the evidence points out more to it than the other apostolic churches such as (RC and OO). Great video brother, pray for me that I may become a fully Orthodox Christian and to spread more orthodoxy with humility. ☦ God bless
why did I need to apostatize from 10 different denominations before finally finding Orthodoxy. Is Christ's Church hidden under a bushel???? Not joking, this question really bothers me.
The Church takes longer to find for some than others, for me I was a baptist then went to Orthodoxy after a time of research and a catholic friend of mine helping me My view over the "hidden-ness" of the Church is that the Church is not "hidden" necessarily, but the perception of the Church being hidden, even slightly, makes us converts care more for her and for evangelization Regardless if my reasoning in the previous sentence is correct, the Holy Spirit had a reason for you being in those previous denominations, I am not one to say what that meaning is, but for me, finding the gem of Orthodoxy in the sea of false teaching has made me love the Church evermore, perhaps God will allow you to know why He sent you to see those imperfect faiths before arriving at the Truth, or perhaps He will not Ask your priest, he will be wiser than me on this
It’s not hidden it’s just the Devil has been working overtime to try and throw off the Church and cause confusion and doubt but yet Thanks to Christ, the Church still stands and will never fall.
We don't let ourselves be known in North America. My theory is that since the churches that first came were used to being for specific ethnic groups they didn't feel the need to evangelize. They still keep to themselves to this day.
Kinda hard to apostatize when I haven’t been baptized into any religion ever but saying something like that is not a nice thing to say and it’s just plain ole mean.
Fancy seeing you here. I wonder what drives you to write the same comment everywhere. You wrote is so much that you probably don’t even know what it means
When in doubt, talk to your spiritual father. If the criticism is from a non-Christian or heterodox, who cares?
Exactly. When some non Catholic person criticizes me, I just ignore them. Great advice.
@@reverendcoffinsotherson5807 As an Orthodox Christian, I agree. When a non-Catholic disagrees with me... 😅☦

Excellent, perceptive and important message, Bojan.

If Christ's church was hidden, you wouldn't have found it. You didn't stumble upon Orthodoxy by chance, God led you here. God bless you

C. S. Lewis said something similar to the thing about practicing cannibals.

You can’t apostatize from something you were never a part of.
You need to stop making videos about me.
Then stop saying shit 😂
@meganortega2653 But... but... but...
I deny Jesus

Your Loss!
Oh well... hoping you'll change your mind! Lord have mercy.
Why?
He doesn't deny you. He loves you more than any other person on Earth.
