This is the newer version, the old key fob actually opens in the back and not the front, thank you! I was confused because I change a battery key fob for a Hyundai 2018 and it's different.

My fob eats batteries every couple weeks. The warning for low fob battery came on. So put one today...see how long this 1 lasts. Vehicle is a 2020 elantra luxury.

I'm not sure he's done it properly - when I did ours, the bottom cover came off w/o dropping the guts and circuit board out. Wife's got the manual - but I suspect the 2019 Hyundai works a bit differently. Dropping the moisture shield and circuit board to change a battery seems a bit much. In ours, the battery compartment came off, the battery is replaced and the two halves pressed back together and done!
