Oh is that how it works, you watch video...absorb all the minute details and you lock it up on someone... I get ya I watch and find practice partner...but I then realize the detail particular to my body size and tendency...and have to play with it for 3 sessions. And I'm still not 100% until live roll and I sink it 3 time on 3 people.
@@Theo-dj7vswell every person is different I personally can watch videos and then do the move in a live go that’s how I got good at wrestling in high school and that’s how I’ve learned most of my slick bjj moves
Bring your elbows together, then to your body, push out your chest and then just "squeeze" aka flex your arm muscles and you'll get a higher% finish, no need to lean or lay flat in any direction or to flop to your side risking a neck crank. Same mechanics works for the anaconda too. Edit: i dont want to sound like a know-it-all but everybody should try this imo
Bro this is awesome, watched this video a week ago and tapped several with it immediately and I’m still a white belt, it’s lucky I ever tap somebody twice in one week with two different subs let alone the same one every time🤣. Amazing stuff bro, love from the UK🇬🇧
The only time i every lock up a darce with my short arms is with this set up. Still picked up couple nice details from you though thank you! Eddie Bravo calls this The Can Crusher.
Very good job! Here in Brazil we do this for years. It's called LUTA LIVRE! But we have been looking your excellent job to improve those technics and make it better and better! Ossssss
Can someone clarify, isn't this an anaconda and not a darce? I thought the difference was the anaconda the lock is by the shoulder and darce the lock is by the neck.
It's a darce, he just bypasses the armpit so it looks like an anaconda. You can tell in the end by where his hands are locked and anacondas don't have the choking arm by your body unless you roll to mount or grab it with your leg.
Pretty sure that is an anaconda choke, if the lock is by the arm then it's a darce if it's by the head it's an anaconda choke. That might just be the north south choke though.
You have to look at the finishing position. When he lets the guy go after the tap. He ends up with the choking arm positioned just like if he entered under the armpit like most normal setups. It's odd because of where uke's arm starts. He forces uke's arm up and then around and by the time the choke is settled it is a d'arce configuration.
I've been hitting this since 2011... Im high percentage from here... often times my opponent doesn't realize and they roll into it thinking they are escaping
Günther Jauch Yes! You are correct. Anaconda the choking arm goes to the neck, then under the opponents armpit, which is shown in the video. A darce the choking arm goes under the opponents armpit, then the neck. We had to drill the two and say it out loud, so we knew the difference. Edit: The uploader has awesome learning videos. I will try some of them.
I must respectfully disagree, the slickest Darce set up is after the Ghost Escape from Side Control. any time you can be in a bad position and less then a full second later be locking up a submission that is slick! this is strong tho
I got jiujitsu in a few hours and I just decided I’m locking this up on someone today.
Did you end up locking it up that day 1 year ago ?

@@rereatapickering715 I would assume not. But hopefully by now they have...lol

That's a great darce setup! Really nice detail on how to clear the elbow.

1:30 - and she just entered my life...
Nah! Try 4:59. (I love a badass girl that can tap me out)
Ok
Ooga booga women make me horny
Used it tonight and it worked the first time!
I've been doing a variation of this for a couple years now but finish with the arm in North South choke, and the darce as a back up
I hope you were joking lol
10th Planet Can crushed
The position reminds me of the ferguson vs vannata fight
I need to learn this stuff!
Great video
Super slick, suuper sick!🔥
Nice! Sweet set up!

nope, it's still a d'arce, the choking arm is still going from armpit to neck, rather than neck to arm pit.

Try dropping your shoulder to the ground like Joe Rogan teaches instant death
❤❤❤ty
Good choke, but that's an arm-in North South choke, at best an Anaconda or Gator choke, not a D'Arce.
Darce is arm to neck, anaconda is neck to arm. This is 100% a darce choke.
Inverted Anaconda
Isn’t that tha anaconda??
👊😷
I couldn’t concentrate on what he was saying, all I heard was “whaaa, whaaa!!” On the background.
Never lie your legs flat like that ( Demonstratee) our coach would give u a 100 push ups for that 🙈
