I have had all kinds of doctors in my life - male, female, black, Indian, Asian, Middle Eastern, Hispanic, white American and European - all of them having done an excellent job with me. It never once crossed my mind for a second to pre-judge their qualifications. I knew there were very high bars one had to pass to become a doctor. You cleared all those bars - great, I'm thrilled to employ your services. But, in the past 4 years, I have, admittedly been paranoid if the doctor that came into the room is not a white or Asian male - those not eligible for affirmative action favors. Now, I feel I am going to have to insist on that narrow choice, at least as much as one has control, such as general practitioner or choosing a specialist. The exception would be a middle aged or older doctor. The customer is no more vulnerable and wary of the quality of service than in the medical field. I guess they would call this an "unintended consequence". Affirmative action CAUSES racism.

In Australia, a friend of mine recently lost her job because it was given to an Indian immigrant. My friend had been at this aged care home for 12 years with an exemplary record. The immigrant had been in Australia for 4 months and could barely even speak English.
Why was the immigrant given her job?
Because the aged care home gets a bonus of $15 000 for every immigrant they employ. I had always been in favour of immigration but when I see this happening my mind is beginning to turn against new non-Australians. Strange how favouritism works, isn't it?

    • @MrGarysugarman

Criminal and immoral. Not only the treatment of your friend, but what about the effect of her absence on the aged people under her care? The entire civilized world is committing suicide. I think somewhere in the beyond Rod Serling is writing all this stuff.

How about a Quota for Househusbands? Les than 5% of Full Time Spouses who Stay at Home Full time to Take Care of the Househ and raise Children- it is less than 5 % Male. That is there Househusbands are only 5 % of the Population. I honestly think there should be legal action against. I personally would live to be a HouseHusband at some Mansion in Connecticut supervising all the Servants., but that will not happen.

    • @patricklincoln5942
      @patricklincoln5942 6 років тому +20

Legal action against? What do you mean? If you mean legal action against househusbands I am against it. I think that men and women should be free to chose what rolls they want to fill (absent pressure from quotas) and that it is the flexibility of roles that should be strived for. If some men want to be househusbands, let them.

In their perfect world, the feminists don't know that the blue collar jobs are absolutely necessary to maintain a productive society. Life is a movie to them. Never mind the fact that the lawn needs to be MANicured. An oil change on their vehicle isn't necessary. Let them fall on their faces. Let them walk around with their, Louis Vitton, Gucci, and Michael Kors, handbags. All companies founded by men I might add. They don't need us.

I'm a woman who went into the field of auto recycling. I moved a mobile crushing device from auto salvage to auto salvage. I traveled the United States. I started as a ground hand, zipping tire's and wheels off. Gas tanks had to be removed, I would use a pick ax to puncture them. I earned my job as a crusher operator after six months of hard. I earned that job. I then worked my way up to loader operator. I operated a Case 644 and 744 front end loader with forks. I would bring cars mark for recycling to the loader operator that placed them in the area of the ground hand. I then learned and would load car body's on flat bed semi trailer's. I finally after three years became the boss. I would love to see the woman that would want that job! I loved my job but the market fell out so I went to work as a full time student with some of the money I made. I am retired now and am a Happy Grandma.

some rare women possess very masculine traits and do well in traditionally physical male jobs, just as a few men are very effeminate and work well in women's traditional jobs such as caregiving.
nobody is saying "keep those rare exceptions out of non traditional roles"!
the problem is gender and racial quotas which are active DISCRIMINATION against almost ALWAYS against ONE gender and one racial group.
so glad that metoo has turned female gender hires into not just BURDENS ,but
      DANGEROUS to organizations.
modern feminism is NOT about femininity ,but is really Marxism ,thus an existential threat to societies which karl marx planned to destroy.

The only barrier to entry is the setup cost same as any business, no special education is necessary if you aren't doing any plumbing. The work is shitty, pun intended, dirty, the equipment is heavy and dirty and you have to sometimes work odd hours, weekends, holidays etc. Not a single woman.

Things she says makes sense but there are times she gets a bit smug and acerbic with her tone which is unfortunate. It reminds me of so many of the sneering liberals that populate CNN and most of the networks. They seem to take such joy in hating the president and conservatives which colors all their reporting to the extent that I wonder where to go to get honest factual journalism and not opinion reporting.
I hate to see her give the same appearance which can undermine her credibility as attempting to be objective. When she mentions Portman @ 7:14 she does it with such facial vitriol it is reminiscent of Don Lemon or Rachel Maddow who cannot check their hatred at the door before going on camera. Walter Cronkite is rolling in his grave with shame for them and so many other "journalists".
We need more voices of reason like Jordan Peterson and Bettina Arndt and I would hope Heather studies their technique so her tone does not preclude her message. Never appear intractable when trying to reason with the opposition no matter the folly of their position. If they stop listening, you have lost the argument even if they never proved their point.

@Bigfoot Where Are You The _word_ man" has been recognized as meaning the _idea_, human, since the Greeks. Modern intellectuals are lost inside language split from reality. It's from the Bible: "In the Beginning was the Word." And voodoo.
America was created in the only _basically_ individualist culture in history, the Enlightenment. Modernists, including conservatives as well as Leftists, rapidly ended that culture's application of Aristotle's philosophy of reason. Modern culture is a nihililist hatred of values and their base, reason. Leftists use the history of slavery to attack that individualism. Leftists want egalitarian slavery. They dont like elitist slavery. Slavery has existed in virtually all cultures, including traditional Africa and American Indian. Only America and the West is condemned because individualism is the target. As the title of an Ayn Rand book says, _The Return Of The Primitive_. And this at a time when the "masses" all over the world are rejecting traditionalism for the (fading) individualist spirit of America. Your blood-drenched, nihilist lust to destroy, for the sake of destruction, is noted. Leftists have nothing positive to offer.

This may be pointing the way toward smaller enterprises. Equity activists are going to target big firms because they can generate a big splash for themselves. But going after a 10-man or 20-man firm? Not enough bang for the buck. So where will the competence be hiding for the next 50 years? In the small firms. Big firms will become increasingly hobbled by equity I initiatives, and ever more dependent on hired-in small firms for their competence. We will see a sharp increase in spectacular failures of large enterprises; companies will go out of business owing to sheer stupidity.

I can completely avoid women, refuse to be in the same room as a woman, avoid any situation that could result in a false rape accusation, and otherwise fully embrace the MGTOW community while still having a healthy romantic relationship, sex life, friendships, and companionship without ever having to deal with the utter bullshit from women that is feminism.

I'm bi but been dating the same girl for 5 years. She says she's a feminist, makes posts online decrying white men. I told her I'm a white man, her father is a white man, and her son is a white man. She somehow let's this cognitive dissonance go unchecked in her mind. But she still expects me to change the oil, fix the hot water heater, and prefers to be submissive in the bedroom. They want to have their cake and it eat too. It's frustrating, I feel like these movements have done nothing more than set back relationships between men and women. But maybe it's all just lip service so they feel like they're on the "right side" of the culture war while still naturally preferring traditional gender roles

Point is there are no laws broken here, men and women gravitate to different fields in general, there is nothing wrong with that. You cant hire on gender over qualifications because of gender or race. We are slowly dumbing down this great country. Also know that there are men as you describe: "never happy always want more never content". This is a mind-state, common to both men and women. If your feelings of contempt are true and you really believe that women (or people) with this attitude will end up like you say (which I'm not debating whether they will or won't), then I think you can find some compassion for knowing so and move on. Use that energy for something positive, how about that? work on yourself, set a good example and respect people (both men and women) for their humanness, regardless of their (if shitty) attitude. Just a though, from a fellow-species woman. ;)
I hope you may find some peace in your heart. Cheers!

Years ago I worked for Safeway (grocery store) stocking shelves. They like to move managers around, or managers apply for some other position at a different store. They also had this idea that they need to be ahead of the curve and hire more women into management so they don't end up with a class-action lawsuit type danger like Walmart had. The grocery manager (not general manager of the store) was always a male. Then they decided to promote a woman into that position. The work just wasn't getting done, she couldn't go through a whole pallet by herself. It was too much weight, too many boxes, etc. Some times you'd have to change out the end-caps of the aisles and put up new on-sale items for that week. The poor lady couldn't handle all those heavy mental shelves. When talking with the GM we both knew the store looked like sh-t. No one could say anything though. She does whatever she can do. All she needs to do is her best a as a woman. If the shelves are empty or we are behind on work so be it. At least we are protected from a lawsuit by having women on board. They already have a lot of women working in management at the registers but they insisted they must have some in grocery too. It's a joke. We all know it's a joke. But we can't say anything. We just have to play along because it's easier that way. This is going on in every industry where women are basically "gifted" a position.

Now, women have access to education, to professional work and more economic independence, men have to deal with greater competition and some of them resent it and believe they are being unfairly discriminated against!

Strong, competent women are appreciated and utilized.

It is deciding to force a structure to adhere to your vision of equity. Nobody is keeping anyone out of any job these days. Period. It has been proven that when something gets main stream attention it falls under greater scrutiny. When companies start losing revenue due to incompetent hires and quality of entertainment declines due to "quotas", among other complications, the market will correct. Remember, the iPhone and social media is less than 2 decades old. Technology has drawn out the cultural issues created by a diverse and free nation. Stand up for what is right in your everyday life, be informed, be articulate, be respectful and this will work itself out.

    • @Wolf-ln1ml
      @Wolf-ln1ml Рік тому

It _was_ the intent at the start. Get companies to hire women even though they were less qualified - simply because men had a pretty big head start in _becoming_ qualified for those jobs (higher regard, so there was more of an incentive for men; also, I can still remember when a university prof asked one of the 6 women out of ~100 students during a greeting and Q&A before the first semester (roughly translated from German)- "Why do you as a woman want to study computer science?"... this was in 1998... the woman in question turned out to be one of the top 10 or so students), so the idea was to get more women into those fields so that there'd be a perspective for other women to get highly qualified so that they'd out-qualify other women so that _they_ would get picked for those jobs, and sooner or later, women would on average be just as qualified as men and the quotas could be dropped. It should have been done within a generation or two.
In principle, good idea. Too bad it turned out to be such a failure in practice, and too many people are too afraid of being called sexist, so they don't point out that the experiment has had _some_ minor successes here and there, but has failed utterly elsewhere, and the time to drop the quotas is well behind us...

When a person goes to work, they as in-anyone should understand that they are being paid for their own INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE. There are many MANY factors that will influence your salary (work ethics, many hours worked per day, educational attainment, being some examples) and NOT because of some of these bullshite reasons; this self imposed “glass ceiling”

I have to say that while I agree with everything said in this video and whole heartedly oppose this diversity culture I think that your experience in hiring women says more about your choices than women in general. As a professional women in the workforce I can tell you there is a strong majority of women who do not behave this way. I’m not saying they don’t exist, I’ve experienced both types, but I can tell you that there is an overwhelming majority of women who are not unprofessional, flirtatious, irresponsible etc. and I do take offense to you saying so. I think perhaps you need to assess the type of women you were choosing and the reasons why you chose them. Saying you will no longer hire women is not the answer, that is completely a recipe for further disaster, you are playing into the lefts validation for the need for quotas.

I hope Heather Mac Doanld continues to make this speeches, they're needed. I agree totally that these women are acting vicitms, as most of these women never dealt with their own childhood sexual abuse or daddy issues.

Almost 3 decades ago when I got my PhD (engineering, not social stuff), I interviewed at several universities. One person in the department told me honestly at lunch that I wasn't going to get the job, even though my research was a perfect fit. He noted that the 'ideal' candidate for the position would be a half-black, half latina disabled veteran lesbian. Nearly 3 decades ago! This is NOT a recent phenomenon, though it is getting more blatant.

@8:24 Thank you so much for mentioning the Publishing Industry. I've been seeing this for years but, as a self-respecting male author, couldn't bring myself to raise questions about the glaring amount of literary agents, editors, and gate-keepers of the publishing industry who are all women, left-leaning, SJWs who want and are actively seeking stories that promote their ideology.
