  • Hello,
    In this trilogy I thought that the last dam will be the biggest one, but I was wrong. This one is biggest one and quite deep. Through the dam passing ice leftovers after Winter. This one was one of the most I liked.

    And here in America, we are reintroducing beavers into areas to help with easing drought conditions. Beavers dams store water, create natural fire breaks, help ease flooding as there is a place for the water to go. Dams also create habitat for birds and other creatures.

    That was so satisfying! But your work looks very tiring. Burning heaps of calories there dude. Are those bubbles rising or is that raindrops falling on the surface? And do you ever see angry beavers?

      I love to burn calories. It's fun to be in nature and be healthy, What else could be better ? :)
      Those bubbles comes from mud under the water. Because mud pressure getting lower and air could come out.

      Actually to film and do good job for farmers. For me to do it is interesting. Otherwise I would not find time for it :)

      I think it’s called the garden claw. It’s a bit pricey but I’ve had mine for thirty years and it’s still going strong.

    Why do you not clear all of the dam? I understand the safety aspect. However if you cleared it completely, would it be totally re-built ? and if so in 24 hours?

      It doesn't matter how much You clear. Whole or part. If they want they can rebuild it within few days.

    Set some beaver traps to thin them out if you can. You will never get them all but you can thin them out abs slow them down. Good video

      Because its enough to drain the water. If beavers want, they can rebuild fast. Its empty of sticks and mud or partly empty.

    You know if you only tear down half the pond built up behind it, it will help with crops and the wildlife around still. If your a commercial farm fucking leave it an use the ponds to help water. Beavers bring in new ecosystems that we need to keep this world going

    You get a thumbs down for waiting too long to destroy the dam. A damn that size takes a beaver 1 to 2 years to build. You should have trapped the beaver and relocated him elsewhere.

      It’s enough to drain it. And effect of water flow is biggest when dam is opened like this.

    Because you only removed 1/4 of the dam, the beaver's should have it rebuilt in 2 or 3 days !!!

    Why do you break down one side of the dam before the other, instead of taking down the dam 'little by little' across the full width ?
    I would have thought that getting rid of the mud at the lower levels, would be easier working on the full width of the dam.

    You must remove the complete dam,not a little bit of the dam.

      Doesn't matter how much I remove. If they want, they will rebuild it anyway. I will come there several times more. With each time I will remove more and more. It's not easy to remove whole such a size dam in 1 time.

    Beaver are a keystone animal. Why would you want to destroy a damn and put such a negative affect on everything in nature?
