I've grown very fond of your videos, very quickly. Not only because you do such an amazing job. But I love seeing the bond between all your family, especially mom and daughter.
Great work. I understand your frustration with the missing culvert. I admire your tenacity. You just never give up. Thanks for another entertaining video. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦
I have to thank you for putting out this video at this time. For at least half an hour, I've been scrolling through the list of videos that UA-cam 'suggested' and was running out of ones I'm willing to watch. What a relief when yours popped up! I Subscribe but being on a disability prevents me from financially supporting others. I can help you by always watching your videos to the end, so that's what I do. I know some of the work you do is hard work. I know it's appreciated by the local authorities and many members of the public. Budget constraints nowadays prevent our local 'works/roads' departments from regularly doing this maintenance work. Your work can save the local area a lot of money which transforms into increased taxes sometimes, so THANK YOU FOR THAT!
42:34 suggestion: lay a piece of pipe in the culvert (from your dads tool) and get the angle of the culvert. Lay another on top of the road at the same angle as the one in the culvert. Bit should point pretty close to the opening of the culvert.
My husband and I watch your videos every afternoon with lunch. We so enjoy your family! The respect for one another and seeing your grandma enjoying nature. Tell mom we enjoy her showing us the changing scenery, flowers and especially walking down the creeks! Maybe show us more video of where the water comes from and where it goes. No complaints, it seems there is too much of that! You all do wonderful work! Its easy to be an armchair quarterback for too many! Looking forward to more adventures with y'all!
That very first stop where Jenn knocked it out of the park. Watcher all of that debris get sucked in & the water being all clear by the time she was done. I could watch that over & over. Just something so satisfying seeing all of that get sucked up. Then again when I use to own a pool & ran the vacuum I loved watching all of the dirty & stuff on the bottom get sucked up. Fun fact. Don’t ever let the pool suction hose grab your inner thigh. I had to stick my finger between my leg & the hose to break the suction & get it off my leg. You want to talk about a perfect 2” circle hickey on your leg….😳🤣.
I wonder I have not seen Anny flowers or green grass in the month of may yet.In my country its all green and flowering and I live way up north in Scandinavium.
You should have a search stick. It can be made from, for example, rebar of one meter. Jeff can make a mockery loss on one end. You can pop into the ground to find culverts. Sorry for bad English. Uses a translation service.
There’s a couple things that you could do to find that culvert. Look at the angle in which the pole was going that you were trying to shove through. Another thing is that you could hit the end of the pole with a hammer and possibly drive it through to the other side.
Have y'all had any bad weather up there? I know down her in South Central and east Texas we are have major rain falls and floods. My husband works for the city as a garbage man and they are having to go an hour out one way just to make it to the landfill. The main road from our city to the landfill is flooded. Y'all please be safe up there. Please watch out for snakes it's that time of year. We had one in our house about a week ago. We live in town.
I feel your frustration with that culvert that wouldn't reveal it's entrance! I had an idea until you said it was plastic! (Metal Detector) Hopefully you'll find it another day as I think that would have been a good flow! Keep up the Great work!
Hi ladies another awesome job.. pls be aware stagnant water I know I keep on. 5 yrs ago my dad had it also 1 other person they were the only 2 in the UK.
Poke it with a metal rod straight down in that mud. You probably missed it by inches. The tree shadow was going straight across so that could have been an indication too. Cudos for “Dads tool” try.😊
If you think about it perhaps a spray can of reflective paint above each pipe might make it quicker to find in the future... It could save you some time ... Have a great day, ladies
Where I live in Wisconsin, the glaciers ground all of our stone into sand during the ice age. I have ZERO stones in my yard. Every time I see culverts blocked by stones, I almost get jealous.😂
Hi Kim and Jen. Kim, I bet that at your place not a single leaf would dare be out of place because if they were, they knew that you would be after them with your rake and gloves. 😂😂😂 Sue from Adelaide, South Australia.
I can't stop thinking about that one that was clogged so bad you couldn't find the entrance. When you got the pole in to it's furthest point, maybe you could lay the pipe on the road in the same direction it was going underground so you might find the area the entrance could be? or at least where the blockage was.
If you tap or bang 😮on one end of the culvert, will it help you find the other? Did you do the math how many sections of pipe would it take to cross that road?
I like your show. I may have heard you mention beavers. Are there beavers in Australia? You also mentioned the northern territories. Are you from Australia?
@@culvertsandmore thanks I am in Victoria Australia. In Australia we have a state called the Northern Territory. It covers a vast area of Australia. That’s what confused me. Hopefully you were not affected by the recent tornado that hit Sulphur.
Hi gal's. G'day from a beautiful day here in Australia. 14th Nov. and Not long before our summer will show it's face. Kim, can I ask you please why you often say "my Jen?". The reason I ask is that my 9yr old grandson always refers to his 25yr old brother in law as "my Jack". I find it quite curious. Sue, mum from Adelaide, South Australia. ☺️🇦🇺
What a great compilation today! That culvert with the blocked end was really frustrating. I would bet that, with some kind of Star Trek physics, you would have had a crowd of us with you looking around for that pipe! 😂 And that buried cable box. 🤯🧐 Hope you both have a great week ahead!
I've grown very fond of your videos, very quickly. Not only because you do such an amazing job. But I love seeing the bond between all your family, especially mom and daughter.
Thank you so much!
I was sad not to hear one, “Go baby go!” By mom.
I LOVE Granny!!! I love when she helps y’all. So cute.
Aloha 🌺 Kim & Jen, Grandma! Such a beautiful day, wonderful wildlife. Thank you! ,,🌺💐🌹💖
I don't know when you actually made this, but it was beautiful. Keep up the good work.
Great work. I understand your frustration with the missing culvert. I admire your tenacity. You just never give up. Thanks for another entertaining video. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦
Great job! Always good to see Granny!
Your stubbornness for that culvert was to be applauded, it that keeps me watching ❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊

Вы большие труженики и молодцы!❤❤❤😊😊😊
Jennifer you are a power house. Well done that is hard work
Great work 👍🏻
You guys worked hard trying to find that one hidden culvert…that’s dedication!
Jennifer you took that blockage out like you were slapping Mike Tyson around. ❤😂😂😂😂
And he lost badly 😢...keep up the great work.
I agree with Holly. Not only do I love watching you work but I love the bond you all have.
Miss my mom and my dad. 😢

Ikr I’m just saying but I don’t think it’s that hard right now

Another good episode. Good job ladies. Too bad "Dad's tool" didnt help this time. I know that one frustrated you.
If you think about it perhaps a spray can of reflective paint above each pipe might make it quicker to find in the future... It could save you some time ... Have a great day, ladies
Oh, maybe a bright flashlight to find the reflective response
You ladies really need to do a bloopers reel. Lol 😂
put the rake handle up the pipe and see where it is pointing....🙂🙂.

Yay we got exiting camera back
You can tap around too. The mud is kind of lose so might find it a little easier. I'm wrong. Of course.
@19:51 Now who would put stickers on a tree? .....🤣🤣🤣🤣
The stickers I was referring to are the vines that have thorns 😊
@@culvertsandmore 🤣🤣🤣

Metal detector….you know what to do ! ❤
You need a sump pump with a generator to pump it out of the ditch that would work
It is getting to be that time of year that you will need the Terry cloth headbands to catch the forehead sweat so it won't go into your eyes.
Metal detector to find the metal pole?
long screwdriver to probe for the plastic culverts

We actually returned to that later and the county had fixed it. We will have an update later.
@@culvertsandmore oh very cool :)
Can’t you use dads plunger stick and push/pump the other side? That way you might see movement on the other end? 🇬🇧💜🇬🇧
Oops you did xx
Have you ever been to the museum in Poteau, Oklahoma? Please answer me.
No we haven’t
i so much want to help, i'm raking my monitor
Do you ever see any fish in the streams? If so what kind? Just wondering!
Sometimes but I don’t know what kind they are
hi Dad

First job done by LumberJen!
❤😊
that must have been exhausting.😓
And what we all want to know, when are mom and Jenn going to come out with a calendar of them dressed for each month ? I'd pay $20 !
I'm 67yo so older than mom a few years, but concede I couldn't work as hard as her since I've been retired 3 years.
I think it behind you

Love your videos but 3 minutes in can't you get a permit to burn down a beaver dam outside of a big pipe ?
Good work, ladies. I love your videos, well worth watching. Do people donate? I think you have to pay for any entertainment.
Yes you can, there is a thanks button and from there you can do that. 😊

Thats a good question, I really don’t know how that got started.
One of those things that just is I suppose. Needs no explanation. All the best for Christmas and the holidays. Sue, from Australia. 🤶🤶🤶
Mom needs to wear a hat and the trees won't pull her hair so much lol

Should have laid the pipe on top of road give you idea of where it is.
I miss the dog Lucy
Further away from the road
great video! Not exactly sure where ya'll are at so was wondering if you're getting the storms/tornados I've seen on my weather radar.
I was very concerned for your well being. Let us know.😮

Do you ever come across weird or unsettling stuff ?
Not really. Sometimes we do get out where very few people go and it can be a little unsettling thinking about wild animals.
Kim, you really need to drop your potato rake with the tines the furthest away from you. It's an accident waiting to happen.
And they should always be pointing down.
