  • Feels good to have the van back on the road! My name is Brian. I live on the road full time in my self built camper van. Join me on my adventures! In this video I drive into Port Orchard, Washington. I enjoy some great tacos and take a look around downtown. Then I drive over to Manchester State Park to for a nice quiet place to park and work on the laptop. I take walk around and enjoy the peaceful beauty. Thanks for watching!

1st your in my home state of Oregon making me homesick, now your close to my 1st duty station (NAVHOSPBREMWA) bringing up great memories of my early days in service and marriage. The wife and I are considering a move back to the PNW and your videos are sealing the deal.

I've been watching you since 2020, now catching up on your older videos. Your attitude towards life is truly inspiring.

I lived in port orchard, actually I lived maybe 5 min away from La Palapa Mexican restaurant, I used to be a regular there. AMAZING authentic Mexican food there! Love it! I used to hang out by the dock near the bus station in port orchard, was just down the street from my house.

Very Very Nice video...I love the way you tell such a wonderful story about the places you see with you eye for interesting unique details..The flower shots are some of my favorite. Not to mention the beautiful panoramic views of places that are postcard perfect.I enjoy the way that you read historical markers ..without reading the WHOLE thing. It allows us to pause and read it if we choose to do so. Great feature. I am glad that you had the chance to meet such a very nice, kind generous, guy as Josh. It rekindles the soul and gives you the push you need to continue to live and travel. Be safe and Enjoy life's adventure.

Wonderful world we live in. :) ....oh and I have a question, possibly for your Saturday chat: in the next several years do you plan on checking out all 48 lower states? Some ppl make that a goal. For some I think it just happens because they're traveling so much. Have a peaceful weekend,Brian.

Brian the battery isolators are sacrificial to start with, since most must be rated for the job at hand. I have two 6 volts totaling, 200 amp hours and at times four batteries totaling 400 amp hours. I use and have had good luck with www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LMGPHW2/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_31?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AWPBFTW0ZXVPR
I have mine mounted in a cool place because as they do their job they get hot. This device is rated for 200 amps and they have had no issues surviving up to 10 years with my 120-130 amp alternators. I also have solar and a shore powered smart charger permanently installed.
    Hope this helps!!

dear Brian its been a long time that i was able to talk to you. My computer broke and i had to wait till my son fixed it. i got sick still being in the nursing home witch forced me to change my plans for going out on road. I will get my act together and get back to you when i am ready. i missed all of your videos so i got to catch up.So by for now hope to talk to you along the way. your friend Tom. happypappytravelman.
