Great review as usual. I thought that the Malibu Charming was the perfect choice for me as I pondered my ideal camper van. However, despite plenty of underneath storage it does seem a bit of a waste having a permanent bed taking up valuable rearward space in a van conversion. The Murvi layout with the central accommodation is similar to the old school Duetto, and seems much more relaxing than the modern trend for the up front dinette style which lacks useable floor space. As you pointed out, there's no room on the floor for a dog or even a toddler. Occupants probably won't feel as relaxed as in a Murvi, because the driver and passengers are always seated right up front like they're in a people carrier. In around 2011 a couple of staff people at MMM (Di?) had bought a metallic green Murvi, and I always remember the lovely view of the waterfront from the open side door with her husband seated on that long comfortable sofa. Good layout, clever design and a quality finish.

There are arguments for both types. Fixed bed for instant bedroom and great storage below or no fixed bed for more living space. If you want the latter, Murvi is hard to beat - even better on Ford!

May I see the bathroom in the second and third vans?

Nice intro to the vans but I never understand why most of these promo vids gloss over the storage, which is extremely important. It may be boring, but if I am going to buy a camper, I want to see how big the wardrobe is, how much space there is under the bed, what onboard fresh & waste water capacity the van has. & the beds - surely a demo on how quick they are to put up & take down would be beneficial?

This video was done a long time ago. If you watch our recent videos we go into a lot more detail, inc storage, bed making, etc. Why don't you subscribe to the channel and you'll see all our latest content.

@@MotorhomeCampervan thanks, my budget stretches to second hand vans so I look at reviews of what is in my budget. I will check out your newer vids though.

Totally agree - most new campervan videos with the exception of this one don't show the bedmaking - or give sizes. Manufacturers videos are much worse - ridiculous in many cases!
