Doubt any of you will see this comment but this video came out when I was a kid and I used to watch it over and over again. May seem sad but i was obsessed about vans. This video and many of yours made my childhood (sounds sad and I don’t know why I was watching van videos as a child) but just thank you all for making these videos. They brung me joy in my earliest years of life.
July 2013 I bought a Shire Phoenix M on a Ducato Auto 130 bhp [only 5.4mt long so fits most car parks etc] got it fully kitted out with every extra going its brilliant used it throughout winter and use it virtually every day ... Shire are so helpful and will do anything you want in the conversion. I downsized from a tag axle Carthago and don't miss it one bit!
You are by far the best presenter I have ever seen. Even though I live in America and will never purchase one of your vans I have watched your video more than once. LOL. I may even share you on my Facebook page. LOL. Well done you!
From the moment i saw the Globescout's interior, it was my winner. Also because i like Germany, Germans and German products. (I'm Dutch myself, i live very near the border). The Globescout has probably the best quality and level of finish, and to have a flexible shower compartment is just very clever on such a small floor area. Besides, if you spend quite a lot of money on a motorhome, you want that touch of luxury. This motorhome looks twice as expensive as some of it's competitors.
Mis mas sincera felicitacion, por deleitarnos unos minutos con tan formidable video. He disfrutado muchisimo viendolo y es muy de agradecer la elaboración de videos comparativos y explicativos como este. Mi mas sincera Felicitacion.
I agree with the winner. So far we only have one Fiat based campervan in the USA. I would like to see a layout with a rear transverse double bed and a mid bath.
Always get so much out of your RV reviews thanks for making them available. Do you ever come across vans with drop down ceiling beds, and if so do you know their pros and cons? We're thinking of a bespoke conversion; rear transverse bathroom with a mid lounge one side bench with stools opposite both to support a drop down ceiling bed, then galley kitchen and swivel chairs at the front.
GlobeScout RD has the best overall look on the exterior. Love the interior design of the Aztec, especially the rear space. Adria Twin GT was my fave due to the majority of extra seating being up front where it is most practical right next to the driver and passenger seats. This makes the most sense out of all different configurations. Also, what's not to like about that interior? Very nice!
Having had campervans and motorhomes on hire, my last motorhome hire was marred by the noise emanating from the body of the van and its internals. It is something that needs to be addressed by reviews and ultimately, the manufacturers to establish a noise standard to stick too.
OK so the winner was the Adria Twin SLX costing today £48,360 that's around $70,000 US for a basis cargo van with a pile of chipboard and plastic neatly arranged to create a bed, a few cupboards, and somewhere to heat up a tin of baked beans. One of the outstanding features of the Adria is the seating area opposite the sliding door which is perfect for when you pay £30+ a night to camp in a field. Having stashed away all the clutter you can slide the door open and sit there with little smug faces and a hey look at us we have money to burn.
I knew that one was going to win while watching it. Well thought out and beautifully crafted. I'd be interested in finding a dealership in the U.S., if available. Thank you for the great video.
I bet he isn't even the owner/seller of these vans, he just sits there and talks about them. At 9:02 the real owner is standing there all like: "what the hell are you doing in there?" And he keeps talking about how nice everything is and you can enjoy the view out of these spectacular windows. Having this flat area here and the kitchen top there...
Best off getting a tent. Problem is with any of these, soon as engine packs up you've had it. Plus if you go camping, can't just nip off into town, without someone else pinching your spot. Wildax best one though.
do any of these have solar panels? These videos are all about the layout, but its the geeky stuff underneath that which interests me just as much. Is about functionality and off-grid lifestyle
That Morello is great. My favorite is always Hymer. But with the big problems they're having it seems no new campers and rvs arent available as they were befor in the USA. Very 😥.
Interesting. Most of the nice North American camper vans are based on the Mercedes Sprinter, but none of these are. It's nice that the European vans have proper ovens, while the North American vans usually have a convection/microwave, at best. The bunk beds seem very practical for families with kids, but you might lose a lot of storage space.
yeah well think about it, Americans drive the big class A with the works, but the Europeans can't have the American ones because they're to big those campervans in that video are the about the biggest you can get in Europe (smaller roads)
electronics for fun Actually American BUY the big class A's and park them on the side of there houses. They don't really drive them much. The average person cant drive a truck that big and parking is very limited over 21 feet in urban areas. So its expensive RV parks for the big Class A's which make them more expensive to run and travel with than a car and a nice motel room...so they get parked either at home or in the desert for the winter where parking is free. All the good free spots to legally camp are not open to a big Class A because of road conditions.
I don't like wood anywhere but in tiny homes it looks too small. The Renault has a large, roomy feel because the decor is very light. Since it's for travel, turquoise/seaside vibes are lovely The 2nd one in white is softer and my fave. The orange one is hideous.
Yes it is all about personal taste when it comes to the interiors, although you're correct, the lighter the decor, generally the larger the space feels.
Great reviews....but where is the Westfalia Columbus??....spacious, stylish and with 2 big beds! Sure the fridge is a little small....but solo cool! ;-)
A lot of the features you talk about, you don't demonstrate, like folding bed bases or extendable tables. You're right there so could easily just show us, it would give a better idea of what you're talking about. I don't think 'leaving bed bases at home' is really an option when traveling.
Very nice vans , the only problem I see is that cops will go straight for you to fine for sleeping in the city. I think the little vans are more for me.
depends on the money u want to spend if your looking at 8 grand + a vw crafter lwb is an absolute must vw reliabity and quality, for less money i would go for an renault master prefer a ex nhs bus with night heater and air suspension, older vihcle the bullet proof mercedes 540.
21:00 Winner is Globecar Globescout RD style. Frustrating they don't tell you why they picked this selection. You have to buy their magazine to know! Infomercial. My reasoning is this: Most amount of kitchen storage space Large bathroom due to multi use as a passage way Upgraded exterior look and quality German build Nice open yet compact front lounge Fridge is high so easy access Rear bed is high enough for a garage below, with huge storage bins either side. Can fit bike under bed when down. I wish they showed the placement of water tanks, battery, inverter etc so we could copy that in the US in our DIY builds. Since the US is still in the dinosaur era of denial about how to build an RV that people actually want to buy vs 1950s clumsy designs.
I don’t know why Americans don’t make simple convertibles like this. And shower and bathroom are very important ...and more than two sleeping is important ..
The price tag on all these is obscene, esp when all they are is a van. better to get one's own van and convert it. Or get a proper motorhome like a hymer 2nd hand, imo.
Esse modelos vans são uma beleza é uma pena que não tem mercado para trailer aqui onde eu moro, a função da utilitario van é para transporte de carga e não familia.
The only one that is really using the euro floor plan and style is the Hymer Aktiv. The best things about it are the rear bed that can fold up leaving room for cargo as well as the sliding bathroom door and the cassette toilet. The reason you can't get them here is because of safety regulation differences. But Hymer is building the Activ at the Roadtrek factory in North America (Ontario Canada I believe) so it is set up to pass the regulations.
Some people we've met on the road have no bricks and mortar.........so they have to live in their vans. Each to their own....but some of the vans we've seem haven't got room to stand up in.
Doubt any of you will see this comment but this video came out when I was a kid and I used to watch it over and over again. May seem sad but i was obsessed about vans. That's fabulous. I think I was 10 when I started reading MMM...
Hope you're still watching our content!

The conversions in the US really need to step up their game after watching this
You are by far the best presenter I have ever seen. Even though I live in America and will never purchase one of your vans I have watched your video more than once. LOL. I may even share you on my Facebook page. LOL. Well done you!
very well presented - this gentleman knows his Vans
From the moment i saw the Globescout's interior, it was my winner. Also because i like Germany, Germans and German products. (I'm Dutch myself, i live very near the border).

American made all the way
DolleHengst you like Germans ? I find that very strange because Germans are not likable at all
Mis mas sincera felicitacion, por deleitarnos unos minutos con tan formidable video. He disfrutado muchisimo viendolo y es muy de agradecer la elaboración de videos comparativos y explicativos como este.
Mi mas sincera Felicitacion.
Remembering my uncle. Thank you.
The LAST ONE IS AMAZING I BOUGHT IT. ITS PERFECT FOR 3 people 2 in bed 1 under the bed so i really recommend IT.
Absolutely right! A camper van gives you freedom that a hotel does not have.
Amazing how this all seemed to start in Germany with the VW Bus. I think they also came up with rockets, jets and freeways.
Quite nice, the Adria GT really brought it home for me...
Thank you for taking the time to share this information!
You can always add a memory foam topper for mattresses to add extra comfort☺🚐
It would be nice if you showed the bathrooms in all of the vans. Some lovely designs.
I agree with the winner. So far we only have one Fiat based campervan in the USA. I would like to see a layout with a rear transverse double bed and a mid bath.
Peter Mullin you took those words right from me. I didn't even have to comment.👍

The Adria Twin Gt should be the winner. The rest look like throw backs to the 70's and 80's.
Having had campervans and motorhomes on hire, my last motorhome hire was marred by the noise emanating from the body of the van and its internals. It is something that needs to be addressed by reviews and ultimately, the manufacturers to establish a noise standard to stick too.
The rear seating/sleeping layout appears to give the most flexibility.
That first one is really cool .... Nice : )
I love this guy. Thanks for the video. My top 3 were globescout, rapido(unfortunate name!) and the Kemerton.
OK so the winner was the Adria Twin SLX costing today £48,360 that's around $70,000 US for a basis cargo van with a pile of chipboard and plastic neatly arranged to create a bed, a few cupboards, and somewhere to heat up a tin of baked beans. Yep living the British Dream but hell the American Zionist Banksters have already fled to Israhell!
VanBooter 1
Brillent video I got some Great ideas for my camper converition thanks :)
You are from the UK and don't know English? What is wrong with you, you semi-literate man?
BRILLIANT
CONVERSION
Read more. Less TV.
this is the video clip which i want to see.
the best ever.
but why dont you comment the costs of those vehicles at the end of each part?
Because they don`t want to put people off. These things are MEGA expensive.
I knew that one was going to win while watching it. Well thought out and beautifully crafted. I'd be interested in finding a dealership in the U.S., if available. Thank you for the great video.

12:30 you totally missed the point. The layout is done because now the beer is grabable while taking a shower. :)
Loads of food for thought, a conversion powerhouse info schooling.
Interesting how the shower was positioned; they could have made it so that it wasn't also the doorway to the bed.
Class! It is my dream. To purchase to itself such "friend", and to leave in a round-the-world voyage. But it is an almost vain dream.
Awesome review and I agree with ending results. Although I do have a thing for the bathroom in the rear.
That Morello is great. My favorite is always Hymer. But with the big problems they're having it seems no new campers and rvs arent available as they were befor in the USA. Very 😥.
wasn't aware utube was a spelling correction portal. but you knew what i was talking about.
Syncro Westfalia hands down winner.
Would be neat to see what Rolls Royce and Bently could come up with in the camper division.
I hate it when they miss the price as if it is not important info .please give us a range
I think for this it is better buy a good used gmc high top strip it and redo by a good carpenter it should save you so much

or a cooktop from what I've seen

Very interesting...well done.
Enjoyed the test,...but... you didn't show enough about the washroom toilet area on some. That will make a difference to the one I chuuse.
Thank you for your comments, we'll try to focus more on the washrooms when we next do such a test
I would love to see an American version between Pleasureway, Roadtrek, Coach House, etc...
23:30 those seats are just overkill! :D
Thanks so much for doing this

i was high as fuck last night and watched the entire video, i'm not sure if i even blinked.
Or why i was even here.
Great reviews....but where is the Westfalia Columbus??....spacious, stylish and with 2 big beds! Sure the fridge is a little small....but solo cool! ;-)
Great video thank you
German design...love it
No mench of the sleeping arrangement?
I don't agree with your choice for winner.
1:48 Look at face haha
With the loo in the back and lounge in the middle...how does one use the loo at night or when partner is sleeping?
11/10 Thanks for the review.

are these much more economical (in terms of fuel consumption) than the LWB Sprinters?
Very nice vans , the only problem I see is that cops will go straight for you to fine for sleeping in the city. I think the little vans are more for me.
I like the van
Maybe you can have your film crew SHOW what it is you are showing and talking about?? To hard to do for them?
Great review, informative interesting compelling. More of the same please.
So poderia ser na europa para ter essas magnificas casas sobre rodas!
So which one can I afford? hahaI am a full time college student currently living inside of my homemade camper.
HAHA! I found you. I'm going to get one of these vans man. They're not too expensive. the cargo version.

Alan Partridge!
These vans look nice but seem a bit cramped. Check out our van conversion and see how it compares!
are these available in the states?
Can you please speak to prices...thanks

It's better if you can put the price tag for comparison
Are these vans lwb or mwb?
can someone who is six foot one sleep across the can in these sized vans?
I don’t know why Americans don’t make simple convertibles like this. And shower and bathroom are very important ...and more than two sleeping is important ..
How much is the Aria GT?
Sweet!

Pilotes is my favorite so far, for the bed
Esse modelos vans são uma beleza é uma pena que não tem mercado para trailer aqui onde eu moro, a função da utilitario van é para transporte de carga e não familia.
We are starting to get those fiat vans in America as cargo vans. So it won't be long till someone makes a RV out of them.
I happen to think they are better looking than anything in the U S, Do they sell them in the states?
Yeah, it's the Ram Promaster.
Will Cruz

Yes they do. If you are interested, please email me @ Donna@sherrodvans.com. I can help you with a conversion van.
nice.
love it great video 10-4 good buddy let pray to jesus
Nothing from Ian Hartley?
動く家は選ぶのが難しいですね!
they did not show the inside of the winner
The whole point of a holiday is you are supposed to enjoy yourself.
What is the point of living in the back of a van for 2 weeks?
Some people we've met on the road have no bricks and mortar.........so they have to live in their vans. Each to their own....but some of the vans we've seem haven't got room to stand up in.
Robin Leach!!! lol
van+conversion around 200.000-300.000 euro or something?
the aztec was the shyt
