Jean Cocteau is for me without a doubt one of the first to have made his debut in synthesizer images as can be seen in the clip which is none other than the great short film '' le sang d'un poéte '' from Jean Cocteau
Great classic surrealist film from Master Magician Jean Cocteau, we won't see Art of this quality again. The imagery here makes the music used timeless, a testament to greatness of the work. Love it.
thank you for uploading the full video. Wasn't crazy about the sound mix redubbing with Massive Attack. I felt it took away from the original intent of Cocteau.
hey! just fyi: this isn't the full video. I totally remixed Cocteau's movie to tell a different story. If the music isn't to your liking, you could always mute it I suppose.
Yes, @andrewamani580, this is FAR from the complete original by Cocteau -- please try to find it -- it is a trilogy and very long and worth your time. The Blood of the Poet. The video maker elpriceisright actually did his/her own re-working of parts of the film and like many other people here, I enjoyed the new work of multi-media art created!
You know from the fact that she is plaster formed and not an emanation in marble that this sculpture is his internal image of her. He is not the Pygmalion he imagines himself to be.
My Top 5 favourite films
1.Blood of a Poet
2. Fast and Furious 2
3. The Emoji movie
4. Magic Mike XXL
5. Sharknado
Sonic the hedgehog
Lol! Very surreal comment.
Troll 2 👍
What a strange list lmao

Modern film making has nothing on this. True art

Coppolla's "Dracula" stole a lot from Cocteau, and, as a result, is similarly magnificent...

la mise en scène est superbe, la musique d'accompagnement pourrait être mieux.

You replaced the score with a boring beat? Shame on you!
Everyone seems to enjoy it but you. If you listened to it you might also notice I also recut the film. If you pay attention you might learn something.
Que manera de andar cocteau
