Like looking at a breathtaking scene from a different vantage point. Bringing with it a different ambiance, understanding and clarifying the point! Talent oozing from these musicians.
Pura Fe' ranks up there with the greatest female vocalists in my book.... Bonnie Raitt, Aretha and Joni Mitchell. Heard her live once and every hair on my arms stood up. This is a great rendition featuring Rhiannon Giddens despite some distortion in the sound system.
I wish Pura Fe would get a McArthur Genius award!
