From what I've seen, Pura Fe always presents herself in a genuine fasion. It's commendable that she represents the traditional music of the Southeastern Woodlands, such as Blues and related Country music, as Indigenous music. And refrains from taking this music out of its local/native context where it was born and emerged. She is one of the few persons to publicly do this. Pura Fe is cousins with indigenous American Jazz musician Thelonious Monk who is Tuscarora by lineage and heritage as well. ❤🪶

Indeed, Blues is indigenous Southeastern Woodland music among other other musical art forms from the south. I'm proud to be a deep Southeastern Woodland man myself.
