My only consistent problem with Euro Truck is that the cities, while awesomely detailed, are devoid of life and people.
That totally breaks the immersion.
Nobody playing these games cares about seeing characters you'll never interact with. What matters more is the AI cars and the physics but ETS2 is subpar to ATS in that front.
@@kak8895 Respectfully disagree. They did put in some NPCs to recreate some semblance of realism but most likely due to game engine limitations and resource prioritization, its understandably very low on the list.
Forza Horizon series and the Crew 2 are filled with people in cities or hubs yet we do not interact with them 99% of the time. But these are major studios with a lot of money to play with while SCS is a much smaller studio with far less resource/manpower available, imho.
I agree with A.I but imho its really not that bad in either games.

I started replaying this about a month ago, bought a Thrustmaster T248 wheel and pedals, a TH8A shifter with truck shifter adapter , Logitech saitek side panel all connected to a GT Omega wheel stand and play in VR with the Quest 2. It's just fantastic, my only gripe in VR is the visuals not being as good as 2D mode, but it makes up for it with the immersion it brings, you feel like you are in a real truck !! Love your videos and having watched some of these got me back into ETS 2. Liked and subbed, cheers.

I’m not being picky, lol but that truck doesn’t have a stick. Lol those have automated manuals. I think they do have the “shiftable automatic” ability though on the right steering column lever. But that’s for “realism” I know it’s more fun with a stick though for sure. Love the vids and keep up the good work!👍👊

FOV is too much, set 65-70 and the game will became more reality, and the original sound of engine this truck more realistic
Preference and distance to the monitor my dude. 105 is perfect for me, I can tell the speed without looking at the gauge and it really feels like you're pushing it when going past 120kph

I wonder if a Truck company seen your UA-cam channel as a Lorry simulator, Oh and Sim racer lol, I wonder if a company would employ you after seeing you do your Sim thing, It's almost the same thing isn't it yeah, lol, You go into a job interview for a Lorry delivery company and use your You Tube channel as you CV, lol....
I will say for anyone who is scared to drive on the other side of the Road, Namely us in the UK who drive on the different side to Europe, But you could probably use this Sim title to learn to drive on the other side of the road, It isn't easy when you have never drove on a different side of the road I would imagine, I couldn't say I have never drove on Europe's roads, I wonder if road rage is more of a thing in Europe, lol...

Great driving with the loading of the trailer, I am actually going to have a go on ETS later on, I want to buy my own Truck and I am not far away from getting it, Few more deliveries and I can buy one, I might even purchase some DLC packs later, Another good thing about ETS is it is actually affordable.

For some reason I belive 10 year later mobile game's will get that graphic and reality.... even today i can play Car Parking Multiplayer by Ozlhass_games.... they made best mobile detailed game but not enough phisics... so I belive 😢 its awesome... like we can see serious cars which we can never see or get them.... games are awesome
