I have learned more about the Spanish language and how to use it through Paul's mini-course than I did through a semester of spanish at my local community college. I have bought his main course and...WOW!! When asked how did i learn spanish so fast (I'm not fluent, just know what i have learned from Paul's youtube videos and his main course) and I love saying..Spanish with Paul. Thank you Paul for sharing your gift and talent with the world. We need and appreciate you.
😂pauls online Spanish course is hands down the best system out there, ive taken a course in Colombia and learned so much more with Paul than in class lessons in Cartagena. i liked the speed of which he delivers the course , also has a smooth voice and the on screen blackboard is a great way to see how the phrase comes together. mil gracias Paul , hasta la proxima.. tay
Vos lessions son muy interesante!!!! I'm from Ukraine and I 've never studied spanish before, but your lessions are so easy. Me gusta mucho espanol!!!!!
Thank you Paul for your effort to" learn me "the spanish language. I looked for a few other teachers but you did it for me as the best. L.G. from Queensland Down Under
I started trying to learn spanish from scratch just a few weeks ago. There are some very good resources on UA-cam, but Spanish with Paul is the best. Thank you so much for such an excellent series of videos. Gracias!
Thanks Paul. Your Spanish videos are the best out there. I wish I had discovered your videos instead of paying out huge amounts of money and still not understanding how to speak and use Spanish properly at the end of the course. Fantastic!
Thanks again Paul. I'm on mini course 5 now. My Spanish is coming along nicely because of you! I look forward to purchasing your full course once I have saved up the money. Your courses are the best I have taken.
I love your videos, with my basic vocabulary I'm able to get the answers every time, I'm also able to apply this approach when chatting on FB messenger with my Peruvian friends. I never imagined I'd be writing long, intelligible sentences in Spanish!
deberias estar un profesor en un universidad o escuela de Los ninos porque haces aprendiendo espanol muy facil. ahora mi hijo y yo podemos estar amigos espanol y ingles. otra vez gracias por todo. bendigas de dios. cuidate y Hasta aproxima lunes.
Very good. I saw only a few mistakes. Here is how I would correct what you wrote: "Deberías ser un profesor de universidad o de escuela para los niños porque haces muy facil aprender español. Ahora mi hijo y yo podemos ser amigos en español e inglés. Otra vez gracias por todo. Que Dios te bendiga. Cuídate y hasta el lunes que viene." I'm sure you will be curious about the corrections I made, so feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I'll be glad to help. :-)
Thanks Paul, I have learned so much. Can you do a mini-course for the classroom, or for teachers who need to communicate with parents. Taking your mini-courses have really boosted my confidence in being able to start communicating in Spanish.
Paul, how are you, my friend? Thank you so much for these mini courses! They really help me a lot in my Spanish. I was trying to get 3 of the mini course books and not seeing them on your site.
Hola Paul, Me gusta mucho hoy lección. I made only one mistake-- para antes verbo. I really enjoy your lessons. I'm always looking forward to New lesson on Mondays. " Estoy emocionada ". Muchas gracias. Chao 😊
Hi Paul, thanks for your lesson, it is always very enjoyable and easy to learn. However, in English, we don't use "I was going to........tonight or later" cos it has not happened yet. We use "i am going to.........tonight or late" Is this common in Spanish? Please correct me if I am wrong.
¡Hola, Paul! Tus videos son muy útiles. Siempre tengo hambre de los nuevos de ti. Por favor, corrija mi español (empiezo a aprender este idioma).Soy de Filipinas. Cuál es tu nacionalidad? please bear with my spanish lol
Paugakhang. Lo has dicho correctamente, solo un error, que primero usas los pronombres y adjetivos para "tú", y luego usas la conjugación del verbo "corregir" para "usted", y eso no está bien; tienes que tratar a quien le hablas siempre de "usted" o siempre de "tú" en tu discurso, pero tú estas mezclado las dos formas, y eso no está bien (dijiste "(usted) corrija", en vez de decir "(tú) corrige"... Si hubieras usado "sus" en vez de "tus", entonces "corrija" habría estado bien. ¿Entiendes? (If you had used "sus" instead of "tus", then "corrija" would have been ok. Do you understand?)) . El resto de lo que dijiste es correcto, aunque suena inusual, así que yo lo hubiera dicho de la siguiente manera: ¡Hola, Paul! Tus videos son muy útiles. Por favor ten paciencia con mi español, lol (laugh out loud (me río a carcajadas))
He said that because "iba" finishes with an "a" and is followed by the same sound/vowel, natives don't pronounce it twice when they speak. You only hear once but don't worry you can still pronounce it if it disturb you that he does not.
Because that's simply the way the language works. The preposition "a" is required in this construction in Spanish, even though it is not required in the other Romance languages (Portuguese, French, Italian, and Romanian).

Sometimes you have to watch the video a few times. I love how Paul breaks down the lesson and builds sentences. I have really applied what I have learned and have been taking private tutoring on italki and have confidence to start conversations when I meet native speakers. But the random chance of meeting a native speaker is rare so I like the tutoring. I also recommend radio ambulante which is a free NPR radio station in spanish with transcripts. Good luck.
Brilliant, and most effective teaching method. It reminds me of Michel Thomas, but at an easier, more patient pace. Cheers mate. I'm gonna try and stick this out. Ojalla :-)
it's an adjective which is derived from a verb. The verb is "ocupar", and the adjective is "ocupado" por him and "ocupada" for her... "OCUPADO" (this doesn't have gender) is also the past participle of "OCUPAR" and used when you say: " I've occupied " which translates as "(yo) he ocupado"... (( "he ( I have)" comes from the verb "haber" which means "to have" as an auxiliary verb to form the perfect tenses... to have gone ( haber ido), to have loved ( haber amado), to have lived ( haber vivido), etc... notice the endings -ado for AR verbs and -ido for ER/IR verbs... There are irregular past participles (participios pasados) such as "escrito( written)" from the verb "escribir"... I have written ( (yo) he escrito)... or "hecho (done)" from the verb "hacer"... I have done ( (yo) he hecho)... ))

Is it only me but I can't hear the conjunction a as in ' iba a decirte '
He said that because "iba" finishes with an "a" and is followed by the same sound/vowel, natives don't pronounce it twice when they speak. You only hear once but don't worry you can still pronounce it if it disturb you that he does not.
Lo explicaste muy bien. Gracias por todo. Lo aprecio mucho.
now I understand iba a !
I thought it was another language

voy a pagar i'm going to pay - me iba a pagar - i was going to pay
voy a trabajar i'm going to work - me iba a trabajar - i was going to work
etc etc.
in spain for example the people say
voy a por el pan - meaning that they are going to buy bread.
@@jimbob8199 pero en España si lo usamos y lo decimos sino no se entiende lo que uno dice, no es lo mismo decir voy a comprar que decir voy comprar,

para nosotros es incompleto, es como los artículos determinaos o definodos: el, la, los y las, a veces escucho a algunos extranjeros decir:

el articulo es muy importante porque nos da información de que nos están hablando si es singular o plural si es masculino o femenino.

why is it ocupado - for him- is that past?
Actually, you answered your own question. "Ocupado/a" is an adjective, so it takes the masculine singular ending "o" for "él".
