Haven't seen the language comparisons for this scene yet. Nice upload. The VA in the German version fits him pretty well I reckon. Though none of the other languages seem to capture the breathiness of the original VA Jacob Edwards. He's great at playing Ominis. His voice is almost whispery a lot of the time and yet that's when he comes off most angry and menacing! Also the MC sounds like a 5-year-old instead of a 5th year in the Japanese version hahaha. Though I also quite like that version, makes me imagine Hogwarts Legacy as an anime... tbf I think Hogwarts Legacy could be a good anime show, and Ominis would definitely be the dark and handsome anti-hero heartthrob lmao. Good work to all the VAs though. And also LOL at "how tf did you get out of the undercroft Sebastian". How indeed? Our best boy works his magic. The question is how, but there's no question as to why - he got the hell out to avoid that earful from Ominis. I swear those two are like quarrelling lovers, with Sebastian being the go-with-the-flow one and Ominis being the responsible one constantly frustrated that he can't get the bare minimum...
Good observation! I'm just recording how I witnessed the game in different languages 😁 Sharing my personal experience/opinion regarding the voice of Japanese MC, I've been to Japan twice and it's actually common to hear females speak like that. They're just really cute! 😅
Personally I don't particulary like the German version. I think the part about him exploiting his ties to the headmaster sounds as if he's proud of his family connections which is totally out of character.
I like the black outfit OMinis is wearing in the Spanish verision. Looks like a Mexican drug lord or something. You gave the protagonist cat ears in the Japanese. Cute.
I'm german, so I played the german version. After comming to youtube for more content I instanly fell in love with the english Sebastian voice, but still thought the german Ominis one was better. Well, after listening to so many Ominis vids, I really love both the same 😂 (but still thinking Sebastian sounds better in the original than german )

My sister and I kept commenting on how weird it was to see the characters still using their Hogwarts clothes even when they were outside of Hogwarts doing their own thing haha - like when you go to Feldcroft to visit Sebastiana and Anne and Sebastian still has his robes on and everything. Definitely cool to see them dressed in other outfits, gives them more personality too!
I'm Brazilian and suspicious to give an opinion, but in addition to the original English version (which is perfect) the Brazilian-Portuguese dubbing is also great!
