Blaster Bates, More funny stories from the legendary demolition man Derek "Blaster" Bates taken from the video "stand well back" enjoy!! you can find it here www.amazon.co.u...
i was lucky enough to spend some time in the company of derek in the 1980s, we both enjoyed shooting pistols on the ranges around north west england, this also included his own trophy cup competition at R A F sealand, the blaster bates "piss till pot" as he named it !. yes they were great days, and in these clips you see him just as he was when you were in his company, none of it was an act, he was the real deal. R.I.P. derek.
I still have the first six vinyl LPs he released after meeting the man himself in a pub called the White Hart I think - it was 1972 after all! He was exactly the same as this at the bar; anything mentioned would set him off telling a hilarious tale of some sort.
I dont think you can actually buy this on DVD this was taken from an old VHS tape that a friend converted to DVD ( hence the poor quality) for me and i converted to avi... you can find it on amazon under VHS..
I had all of his tapes

christ memory lane, i used to listen to these tapes as a ten year old 35 years back, a pure pleasure, thanks for the upload.
