    The reason they also never had the number one pick is because they rotated between nl and al for who got the pick. And the team when it finished with the worst record it would go to the nl

    Bazzana is the type of player that is going to take every opportunity in the minors to advance his skills, body and mind. He is about honing his craft and you don't want to take away his time to get every step mastered in the process. He will blossom quicker and better if you let him take every step up the mountain. I'm ok with this taking him into the backend of 2025 before he enters the majors. I think he needs to be brought up when he has a chance to be rookie of the year and that his rookie eligibility might be best saved for 2026. Let Holiday get it next year but let Travis in next year but maintain rookie eligibility for 2026. The value of the pick in the 2027 draft would be great. If he could win it in 2025 then do it then but don't rush the time to hone his craft at different levels.

    How do I watch the rest of this episode from where it cuts off at the end? I want to hear them talk about the other draft picks?

    All of the hate in the comments.... Just go watch the driveline video about Bazzana. He does everything he can to get every ounce of production from his bat.
    This kid is gonna be something special.... UCSS please report on that. People need to know exactly what this kid is doing, and how he will be up with the club a lot aooner than anyone thinks.
    Go Guards!

      Cags had the worst chase rate in the entire country. Sure he made great contact still but when facing upper echelon pitching it’ll be much tougher.

    Cleveland should have drafted Charlie Condon. We need POWER!!!! Bazzana has already peaked and this is as good it gets from him. Condon has lots of power and will get better. We DON'T need more contact hitters. Remember the 1995-97 Indians?!?! Loaded with power. We only have Jose Ramirez as a dependable power hitter and he's aging fast.

    You got guys in Condon and Caglianone who experts are saying are like judge and Harper, saying they could be future MVPs, big box office. What do we do? We pick a little shrimp second basemen. I knew that gee golly willikers Jay Crawford would be in love with this pick

      You don’t know what you’re talking about. Aaron Judge and Harper are once in a decade talents, Condon and Caglianone are not that.
      Time will tell how good they are in the majors but we picked the guy who has the best work ethic, let’s see how the 2 tall guys do when major league pitching exploits their weaknesses.
      Also, don’t assume Aaron Judge, look how Nolan Jones is struggling this season, Condon is better than Jones but no guarantee he’s going to be successful.

      @@stephenk5455 miss me with all that stuff you’re saying. Condon and Caglianone are once in a decade talents, they are generational talents. Who doesn’t have weaknesses and if you are a major league pitcher your job is to exploit weaknesses. have fun with your draft pick. get me one of the boomerangs when they give them out for Australian night

      Condon and Cag are too tall for the Guards to draft at their positions, and Condon doesn't bat left handed. That's my guess, but Bazzana looks like a future above average MLB bat, and in some ways a perceived safer pick. Translated that means more contact with less homers over less contact with more homers. Plus home run hitters get expensive fast.

    • @ShadowSelf216
      @ShadowSelf216 5 місяців тому

      @@fg6971 Condon will be a guy who has HIGH batting average with HIGH homeruns. Exactly, with the comment about they will be high price down the line and this continues to show that this ownership is CHEAP and we need a new majority owner. There are so many in this city that have Stockholm Syndome and are just ok with just MEH/MEDIOCRITY
