Hi Fred (and son) Thanks for the kind comments. I love FPV flight and it's great to hear that people from the other side of the globe also get to enjoy what I do. all the best justin
Justin, I have been following you for a while now, you are truely an inspiration to me and my 13 y.o. son : We have gotten into Quads and FPV, because of your great skills, not only in flying, but mostly in the areas you make us discover. Please continue, as you are a great ambassador to this area of skill , vision, and the arts of natural landscapes, and the editing of your thumbprint into this beautiful footage... Cheers! Fred from Montreal Canada
flew my 650 quad for the first time this morning. You are definitely someone to aspire to. I get such inspiration from your vids. Thank you so much Bill Welch Tampa Florida Go Bucs!
This is awesome! I have a box of fpv bots n bobs , lost interest a year ago and never finished my project. Youve just given me that inspiration i needed! Thankyou
Hi again Justin. What happened there.....was waiting for the usual crazy roll or something of that nature and you remained well mannered until the end! Somebody must have slipped a Valium in your coffee! Ha! Ha! Seriously, outstanding control of your machine, excellent music selection, you remain the standard upon which many of us rate ourself. Ever thought about contacting the Parc Governmental autority to show how well you display Australias' natural ressources? Could be fun for you...
Great flying, Location is fantastic, almost no one around to bother you, or for you to worry about. I'm looking forward to watching your other videos. I just got in to RC Powered Sail Planes, with the hopes I could be come proficient in my flying skills to some day make videos similar to yours. Keep flying and keep smiling :-)
Very Cool! I'm jealous how you always have the whole beach to yourself. Over where I am in the states there's always a bunch of people who come running up asking all these questions about what kind of bird you have.
Awe inspiring and full of fun as always juz.... Hey Ali... you know you have appreciation and love from me and countless others from around the world....much respect for OpenPilot!!
man, the choreographing on this little gem is perfect...esp near the end where you fly over oily looking water, and music has this serious sound...lol Lots of implication in this, as the very future of this hobby is threatened by lawmakers with skinny heads who fear FPV -wholesale- without regard to its potential benefits, out of fear their constituents wont vote for them if they allow drones and private RC to fly. Keep up the excellent work, as we all must project the good in FPV.
Fantastic views, you are spoilt for choices with deserted beaches in Oz. In winter nobody is there, and in summer, surely there's just too many things trying to kill you to go anywhere near the water ;)
Juz, I you have cold blood to fly at theese places, or then you trust very much in your models :) I appreciate this in you. Keep walking Juz, you are in the right way! My family love yours videos, my son Diego 6 years old always say: that´s juz video daddy? Yeah Diego, he gonna try tomorrow okay? haha. Best regards.
sure if i lived in a country that beautiful and i could fly like that ;-) awesome as always, its why im moving to Oz next year, that and work....... give me 2.....3 years tops ill be uploading vids of this quality......... top job AGAIN Juz.
Wow, that looks almost good enough to be in New Zealand :-) Building a quad at the moment so I hope to get some video of our beautiful little country for the world to see. If they come out half as good as this I'll be happy.
Great video as always. Got my juz inspired FPV quad up and running, and I'm breaking plenty of props working on my skills while I save for a gopro. Thanks!
Great vid n sound track (have had a crush on SN for 3-4 decades now). Sadly my so called infallible - 3 times more expensive MacBookPro took 6 attempts before it could finally play this vid (BUT only in tiny mode). Nonetheless, GREAT vid.... Only way I could improve it would be if I was a raptor on a thermal filled afternoon soaring lazily above the same spot with earbuds in and a mp3 player dangling from my feathery neck piping in the same tune.. Keep up the good work my friend.
Hello from Ukraine and USA! Live in the first, but currently in the second. I am starting FPV too. Next goal is EagleTree, then - GoPro. God, that's lots of money...
Yep what Dan said! Ive been contemplating getting a QC for a while and by seeing your epic vids you've really sold it for me. I'm going to study all your vids and your site for info. Cheers But tell me, That's got to be some real out of body shit when your looking at yourself right??
nice video juz............. i do this footages with planes......... i have a dji naza quad...waiting to buy a good fpv googles and transmition set........really enjoy to see your video clips...regards from Malta Europe
very cool mate...........wish i get more of my quad.... if your of to malta europe just give us a call............we are some of the fpv freaks that exists on our small island. regards Tony from MALTA
Juz, Firstly thanks for all the flights you have posted. You maybe able help me, do you happen to have any info on the laws governing FPV in Australia, if any? or is it state specific? cheers Paul
Another great video. Your an inspiration :). BTW what tune is this? I tried having SoundHound analyze it but it didn't have any matches. Thanks for sharing!
g00gle helped ;) "However, once I got under the cover of trees, it was a nightmare for GPS. ATT didn't quite work consistently enough for filming due to sudden corrections by the FC which made for jumpy video. Manual was the only way. And here is where (respectfully) CC3D beats the living snot out of Naza." so, for beginning in FPV I will buy naza dji, and later, for more action, the CC3D FC?! so I going to buy the set and attach the CC3D(wich is waaaay cheaper + better) later?Good idea? THX
real interesting reply :) im planning to buy hoverthings ht-fpv frame with their motors, escs, dji naza with gps, +DX7s Transmitter + AR8000 Upgrade + the fpv-rtf kit (fatshark goggles etc 595usd). I would use the gopro hero 3. my plan is to do flights like you do, I know, i have to advance my video equip a little more, but just for beginning I thought this "set" would work quite well for me. so,WHY not DJI naza?! is cc3d that much better?!?!?!
it is t dream from fleetwood mac, but what version is that, please? Obviously it is not the original version and I must admit I like this one even better :-)
Justin, great job! Looks like LRS works great for you. What video editing software are you using? any filters? your GoPro videos always looks really good, what setting are you using? Thanks.
Is it better to use separate rx instead of the built-in rx in the goggles? I fly fpv..still rather new so i just use built in and 250mw with imersion rc antennas. Gettin pretty darn good range. Will upgrade freqs etc later. But for now just want to know should i get a separate rx for ground station.
After all these years, you are still the best !
Hi Fred (and son)

Man, that smile on your face at the end of the video says it all :-) Great Video - thanks for sharing!
I'm sure you get this a lot, but as a baby-quad pilot I use your flying as the standard. Thanks for everything.

@juz70 love your style Justin. We consider you the Wayne Gretzky of FPV up here in Canada! Hahaha
Hello from Ukraine and USA! Live in the first, but currently in the second.
I am starting FPV too. Next goal is EagleTree, then - GoPro. God, that's lots of money...
Dude, I've been missing these videos!
Fantastic views..wish I could fly somewhere like that:)
Absolutely beautiful !!
Cool dude, you're flying further and further away, think I've gotta upgrade to your new antenna, and control system.
Excelent my Friend you are the best best regards from México.
Yep what Dan said! Ive been contemplating getting a QC for a while and by seeing your epic vids you've really sold it for me. I'm going to study all your vids and your site for info. Cheers
But tell me, That's got to be some real out of body shit when your looking at yourself right??
Dude... that footage was fresh... just made me wanna wax up my stick and smash some of those clean little A frames breaking down along the beach!!!
Its all about vision of composition then having the piloting skill to get that shot. You got the one, two combo, kid
Excellent!! The best fpv is here!
Love the Stevie knicks remix man, sweet flight
Unreal. What is the effective range of your machine?
depends of the machine. I use turnigy nanotech 4s lipos from 2200mah to 4000mah. I aim for a flight time of 5-8 minutes.
explain the back pack u got there ?? sweet video dood im loving it
absolutely amazing man. keep it up!
Awesome as always Juz
Hi Ali
I don't ever push that far. I stay well within my FPV and RC gears limits.
Please tell your video render settings, nice videos all time.
i miss your adrenaline flights. Keep them comingg!!!
well done sir..liked, and shared

awesome video...4 props up .

If I had an OSD I would use that, but I just go on flight time using the countdown timer on my transmitter.
Incredible...no words...
Sorry man, I don't know. You'll find it if you did a search on soundcloud =]
Your videos are the best! BTW, how can you know your battery life during flight?
same here. I'm new and still getting the hang of it, but juz is the inspiration.
Sensational clip!! What range do you get with what setup??
real interesting reply :) im planning to buy hoverthings ht-fpv frame with their motors, escs, dji naza with gps, +DX7s Transmitter + AR8000 Upgrade + the fpv-rtf kit (fatshark goggles etc 595usd).

so a cara de satisfaçõa diz tudo...
it is t dream from fleetwood mac, but what version is that, please? Obviously it is not the original version and I must admit I like this one even better :-)
What radio gear are you using? that was a great flight and video!
Very enjoyable video, thank you ;-)
no idea, never tested it. Battery life is the limiting factor.
Justin, great job! Looks like LRS works great for you. What video editing software are you using? any filters? your GoPro videos always looks really good, what setting are you using? Thanks.
thanks man. There are plenty others to check out. =]
freaking awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're using a SPW and a CL? Does it make much of a difference using those 2? Can I get away with using 2 CL's? Great video btw.
did you know you were on the abc tonight, Juz?
happy face, after a successful flight :)))
hey juz how do you stop that gopro fisheye look on your wide angle lens?
looks like over a 1km range. you use any special gear? awesome video btw
stock FOV at 720 60fps (whatever that is) =]
V2 I think, not sure.
I don't know if a separate vrx would do a better job or not. You could get a diversity rx and that would help.
How can one further increase battery life on a QAV500 platform? Preferably, to that of more than fifteen minutes.
Hey Juz, is that a UHF system connected to your transmitter? If so, how's the transmitter range? Futaba?
Which FOV settings did you use on the gopro? Do you mind the fisheye effect it has on straight lines like the horizon?
@juz70 what is your fpv setup, because i am looking to do something like this but i can't find any good tutuorials, thanks!
where i cant buy all tthe system whitouth go pro? and how much is it? THANKS
I don't know. Never tried 2 CL's. It would work, but not as well as SPW/CL obviously.
Still my fav
Ernst Bürer thanks man =]
what song is this and where can i find it?
what size battery do u recommend, and what kinda time will it be ?
thanks man. =]
