Wow, that is gorgeous! As a side note, I do wish Bible publishers would work on their oh-so-thin paper. I know it's necessary at times, especially for study Bibles. But I recently read Moby-Dick in what they call the Macmillan Collector's Library edition. It's tiny. From Amazon: Dimensions: 4 x 1.4 x 6.2 inches. It has a ribbon and gold gilding and everything. Best of all, it was under $20 at Barnes & Noble. I was amazed that the print was entirely comfortable even for my tired, aging eyes. There was pretty much no ghosting. I couldn't help but think it looked like a Bible and wonder why portable Bibles aren't made this way. In fact, a lady saw me reading outside and asked if it was a Bible! Why can't Bible makers create something similar, a smaller Bible, with readable font, that awful eye straining ghosting gone, and paper that does not feel like it's going to tear with normal (and careful) use.
I absolutely love this set. I struggle to concentrate sometimes and this Bible eliminates the distractions and makes it so much easier for me to focus. I love the feel of cloth on board and the paper is top notch.
I recently just had my first CSB in a single-column version and I am loving it!, the bold letters quoting the OT are a nice touch and the New Testament is not in a Red Letter format. I am planning on collecting the different editions of my CSB and now that I saw this I might get this to put on a shelf so that when I or a visitor look at my shelf we could just grab it and read. Thank you for doing this, this fall I will still explore other translations like the NASB95 and LSB, but for now, I will continue reading my CSB.
I own this set and my wife and I have matching single volumes rebound by Cherry Hill. I use the 5 volume about every other year to read through the Bible. I also used it when I read through the Bible in a week. I believe it is the way Scripture was meant to be read, I highly recommend it.
80-100 gsm?? 🤯 have you written in any of these? I’m wondering if it would be ruined if I made notes on the side. It’s such a pretty set. E Edit to add: kept watching and you said space for notes 😂
Per Wiki on the 2022 revisions - "Adjustments affected less than 1% of the 2017 text, and focused on edits to footnotes, cross references, punctuation, and word/phrase choices." This "Reader's Version" has no footnotes or cross references...so any changes to those don't exist for this...and those "punctuation" and "word/Phrase choices" would make up an even smaller portion of that "less than 1%" difference to the text.
My brother in Christ, I beg of thee, PLEASE give us a library tour! You can't keep showing us those bookshelves stuffed with beautiful books, and not tell us what they are. It's cruel, and unusual punishment. We would all be cool with a video that is several nickels worth. (In Palpatines voice) Do it! Please 😁
The CSB is an ideal translation for a "recreational" reading experience. And this appears well done.
Recreational? Why do you say this? I think of Bible reading as so serious.

Working on my Bible collection and this is the readers set I plan on getting one day

What came to mind was Bibliotheca when I first saw this video
I believe that was the inspiration behind it. I’m pretty sure they were the first to do it.
Thank you, Brother Tim 🌹⭐🔥⭐🌹
12 font I could read that!
I would be SO distressed not to have the verse numbers though!

Hey Tim, what CSB printing is this?
I know they had a revision, I think in 2020?
They did have a revision in 2020. I would say it is updated this far into, but I will check.
2017 text still
