I know this arc is centered around this vindictive "impeachment" of Jack (and thank heavens a defense team showed up as he was one Railroad Man away from getting railroaded). But I'm liking all the side stories (that are probably more than "side" stories) we're getting in the process. I'm probably making things more complicated than they need be. But I wonder if Mr. Poe (and by extension whomever or whatever he serves from the dark) has ulterior motives going after the child all Rumpelstiltskin like (a child who was "miraculously" conceived when it was clear that Trevor was shooting blanks so to say). Kinda makes me think of Jonah's parental situation.
After listening to this, I can see how Mr Poe will loose his case. I wonder if anyone brought a legitimate case against Jack, or if they’re all just ornery and pissed to the point of being stupid and sloppy?
You gotta remember, they didn't even expect Jack to have anyone come to his defense. This was to be more of a humiliation and execution until a certain Ms. Walker showed up.
@@OldGodsofAppalachia yup, the first case made that very obvious. 😅
Tailypo was one of my favorite folklore characters, and I thank you for resurrecting him from my childhood.
I'm going to have to join your patreon. I'm too invested in these characters LOL
Yeah so, I am definitally gonna make an antagonist based off of mister Po in my next City of mist campaign
Another masterful piece of storytelling! It makes me very grateful I am living in the relatively woods-less north of England and not near the events of this fantastic story arc! Thanks again for another enthralling installment!
Woo~Hoo! New episode! Gods, I ❤ this show 😊 I've been binging from season one (again 😂 'cause it's so dayumm good!) so it's nice to remember and connect the dots (rather, the people and their stories) up until this point. A good 'ol refresher, if you will. These characters are SO well woven into a beautiful tapestry-like story with American Folklore, I think its amazing what y'all have created here. Been listening for a cpl years now and it just keeps getting better and better and better! 😊👏
💙❤💜
