I would measure how much oil you got out of it before dumping 8 quarts back on it…, Porsche’s oil circuit are complex and is likely you don’t get everything out thru the drain plug
Most annoying part about changing the oil is getting the oil reading on the dipstick. I understand why they didn't use a physical dipstick, but, damn, is it stupid
The oil filter housing is a reservoir so even with a drain of the oil it is going to be full of oil!!! Changing oil and filters is ALWAYS messy! Best you put plenty of stuff down to catch the residue! Then you have the problem of cleaning the oil pan and surrounding areas to prevent oil stink burn off!!!! Good luck!!!
...mentions "tighten to 35-Ft-Lbs",...then proceeds to 'strong-arm the oil pan plug"! SMH Why not add the amount of oil based on the required capacity to be added when oil and oil filter is changed! I'm sure it's in the Owner's Manual. You save money,...no doubt, but a sloppy job! Edit: I gave a "Like" for the effort!
beautiful spec and hats off to you for doing it yourself. Beyond my comfort zone 😂
No oil pan cover?
I don't know why I'm watching this, I drive a 2022 Toyota Camry 😂
Yooooo! I drive an ‘09 Camry and im here too! Lmfaooooooo 😂😂😂😂
Hey, the Camry is hella nice :)
@Stol3nXDrive Now I'm in a Subaru Legacy... lol, Camry was t-boned by someone running a red light :D

Use the ziplock bag trick for your filter and save the mess.
This is why I go to my mechanic 😂😂😂😂

You want to change the oil. Do WAIT Until it is completely out of the car.

I like the low profile ramps, are they high enough to get under there? How high do they go? I'd rather do that than jack stands.
@@madisondrumz their about 5-6 inches high. I wish they were higher but they do the job.
No Porsche charges 750$US for an oil change
Nice car man, what year is it ??
Why wouldn't you just wait for it to stop draining?
@@SteveHeil-tb7wg takes too long I waited 20 minutes and it was still draining and it’s such a small amount that it doesn’t matter
Of you want to make sure the oil is completely out... start the car after removing drain plug. Goose it, ever so slightly...empty in no time, eh
