I mean, Duel Links is an entirely different meta due to the rules changes and lower card variety. Cards that are trash when you have 5 zones and 40 cards can be much more powerful when you can draw into it easier due to a smaller deck and have fewer zones to play in.
How about a video on the worst overall Yugioh sets or structure decks from a competitive standpoint? Apparently Ingunar just released on DL and Thunder Dragons sometimes use it. Unfortunately for the guy I was playing against, though, the way priority works with monsters means I get to respond to the summon to remove the monster before the effect actually goes off, which is rather tragic. I mean, one advantage of abilities that specifically target a single spell/trap without it being able to respond is that, if your opponent has two set cards, they can either activate the one they don't want to lose early or run the risk of losing the card they want for no value to try to preserve it for when the card'd be more useful in exchange for a coin flip. It's somewhat interesting how that doesn't scale as well with board wipe type effects, even if it makes them avoid negation. You see Dark Magician sometimes on DL but I don't think I've ever seen Expanded activated. It's worth noting though that it's one of the Card Trader cards, so when you're started out and you really wanna play DM it's super easy to get compared to basically anything else.

Funny thing about Odin's Eye, the real life version is actually better than the anime version. 1. The anime version you have to choose whether to look at your opponent's hand or set cards. 2. You only get to look at 1 set card instead of all of them. 3. You have to negate all of your Divine(Aesir) Monster's effects to activate it instead of just one. Of course, it's still terrible 😅.

I remember in Legacy of the Duelist there was a reverse story duel where you can use an Aesir deck with Odin's Eye in it and I actually rather liked it in that scenario. But yeah, using it is a bit risky and not worth it too much, especially if you've already used it the turn before and only would learn about 1-2 new cards. Still pretty neat, and I do like the card art!
I feel like Dark Magic Expanded isn't that bad. All you need is 2 Dark Magicians in your grave, and all your spells and traps become Spell Speed 4 for the turn?
Depends on if that is a hard twice/thrice per turn - I'm not sure how many of those even exist. Soft once per turn though (i.e. once per turn unless you play it a second time), I think Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon would be pretty high on the list - to the point where Duel Logs probably wouldn't include it because its a card too talked about / represented in his lists.
I think Superdimensional Robot Galaxy Destroyer would've been a nice honorable mention to put next to Ingunar. He nuked set spells/traps without your opponent being able to respond but has the same problem of requiring 3 materials and being vulnerable before you can trigger the effect. Also because Galaxy Destroyer's effect only hits backrow you are forced to play him straight into something that could stop him. Ingunar can at least be used on a field of monsters so I feel he'd be even better than Galaxy Destroyer if rank 6 wasn't harder to perform than rank 10 at this point.
It's kinda sad, as the Asir monsters could be so much better, if they released better main deck monsters that could synchro whichever of the three you needed at that time, instead of each series only able to bring out a specific Asir boss. One of the only archetypes I can think of that kinda works against itself.
If I was correct, some of this card is "Half Spell Speed 4". Some can be negated by Monster Effect. But still count since it cant be negated by Solemn Brigade (with exception of Monsters on summon like Ingunar) Well, still with my suggestion. How about Spell/Trap that become Monster (somethin like Paleozoics traps or Tiki Wall) ?

Fairy Knight Ingunar can be used in Rikka Deck. In the best case scenario, you have Erica, Mudan and Primula on the field already, increase Primula's level by its own effect, then you can Xyz Summon Fairy Knight Ingunar (You can do it with other member/combination, but if you have Hellebore and Snowdrop on the field and instead decreasing its level with Cyclamen's effect, Teardrop is better option). It is actually quite useful assuming it didn't get negated by Infinite Impermanence (or anything) before detaching, because Rikka would love the extra removal beside their own effect (Tribute).
I really don't like the term "Speed Spell 4", it's not because it's an unofficial term like handtraps, floating effect, or inherent summon, i'm ok with that, the reason why i don't like that it's because the actual effects are not related to priority or how fast cards can be responded to, most of these effects are ignition effects (Speed Spell 1 that requires to be MANUALLY activated), but even if some of those cards are Speed Spell 2 (like Superpoly for example), they can't still respond to the activation of Counter Traps or respond to another "Speed Spell 4" cards. These cards that has "can't respond effects" are just Unchainable Effects to either all types of cards, certain types of cards or certain card targets. An example of certain types of cards that can't respond will be Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, it has an Ignition effect to pop a Spell/Trap card, with an Unchainable Effect to only Spell/Trap cards, meaning that you can't respond it's effect with those type of cards (not even Counter Traps can respond, since they are still trap cards), but you can respond with a Monster Effect like Invoked Mechaba or Apollousa. The example of certain card targets that can't respond will be Night Beam, the Set Spell/Trap card targeted by this card can't respond to it's effect (Even if the targeted Set card is a Counter Trap), but cards that are not the targeted set card can respond normally. The reason why certain cards like The Fable Unicore can negate Superpoly it's because it's a continuous effect that doesn't start a chain, so it can even negate Counter Traps because of that.
I think the term "spell speed 4" is dumb. If spell speed 4 was an actual thing, you could still react to spell speed 4 effects with other spell speed 4 effects, but that's not how these "spell speed 4" effects work.
Yugioh players be like “This spell card is unaffected by all card effects, cannot have it’s effect negated by any cards, its effect is an unstoppable lingering effect for no cost that can be searched out super easy and it’s effect is that you win the duel at the start of your NEXT turn?! Too slow, unplayable.”
Okay, got recommended this immediately after the "top 10 spell speed 4 cards" video from a few years back, and thought I was having a stroke when I saw Laevateinn and Ingunar again
Depends on what you mean by that; when I started playing Duel Links the first really useful cards I got were Neos Fusion and Red-Eyes Fusion, but if I want a second or third copy of Neos Fusion then I would have to pay or wait for it to be obtainable in a special way. I haven't paid a single penny on Duel Links but the first card I got from one of the latest packs was Hieractic... er, hang on gonna look up and copy-paste its name: "Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis", yeah that one. And it is a powerful card, but I got really lucky; does it count as free to play? If we're counting time limited giveaways then Blue-Eyes Alternative Dragon is both powerful and playable by anyone who literally just started playing the game since Blue-Eyes White Dragon is obtained with one of the starting characters.
By free-to-play do you mean character Level Up rewards like Shadow Sealing Mirror? (Separating this into a different reply as a sort of TL;DR question)
My 2nd main deck is an Egyptian God deck and I really tried to use Ra - Immortal Phoenix but it just never worked out, not a single time... so I stopped trying.

Also because Galaxy Destroyer's effect only hits backrow you are forced to play him straight into something that could stop him. Ingunar can at least be used on a field of monsters so I feel he'd be even better than Galaxy Destroyer if rank 6 wasn't harder to perform than rank 10 at this point.
i still remember where odins eye gave yusei trouble in the anime
It's kinda sad, as the Asir monsters could be so much better, if they released better main deck monsters that could synchro whichever of the three you needed at that time, instead of each series only able to bring out a specific Asir boss. One of the only archetypes I can think of that kinda works against itself.
If I was correct, some of this card is "Half Spell Speed 4". Some can be negated by Monster Effect. But still count since it cant be negated by Solemn Brigade (with exception of Monsters on summon like Ingunar)
Well, still with my suggestion. How about Spell/Trap that become Monster (somethin like Paleozoics traps or Tiki Wall) ?
When you are faster than light so you can only see darkness.
Spiritualism can get over Toon Kingdom field spell and wipes your opponents field if toons. That's what that's good for or in malefic deck they need field spell in order to more than one.

Wait wtf wasn't Nordic relic laevateinn in the BEST spell speed 4 list?
This is a card that's in the best and worst lists!?
So is Ingunar, now that you mention it.
Ingunar can be brought out with rikka queen strenna, so it does have a way to cheat itself out.
0:47 "Loan facedown" - "Hey uh... can anyone lend me a facedown card? Appreciate it!"
yeah was that a typo?
@@MrWallow7 yes, it should be "lone" instead of "loan"
@@justsightseeing1 not a native English speaker, thought it could be a rare expression or something yugioh related

Fairy Knight Ingunar actually works really well in Rikka Decks, due to the effect of Snowdrop. So I wouldn’t have included it in your list.
Okay, got recommended this immediately after the "top 10 spell speed 4 cards" video from a few years back, and thought I was having a stroke when I saw Laevateinn and Ingunar again
Top 10 free-to-play duel links cards
Yeah, at the yugioh duel links have a ton of support/variations blue eyes and dark magician. Especially blue eyes white dragon, i was meet a ton of player duel with same blue eyes deck. And that make me boring to duel, even i could win the duel. I let them win, and pretend to play. Even i have same blue eyes deck... I mostly did not use the deck for PvP duel, just for mission duel...
It's hard not to play an easy top tier "cheap" deck when you're on the ladder

Top 10 Cards that Evolved/Generated more potent power creeps (competitiveness optional)
I feel like Norse gods have a lot of hatred by the YuGiOh creators lol.
Just here as a DL player to say I've honestly never seen anyone using Expanded. Most people abuse Dark Circle and Magician Navigation to banish. And people that RP it up with Timaeus-summoned fusions and that Ritual retrain, I still don't see Expansion being used.
Yeah, Expanded is definitely not used in competitive DM decks in Duel Links either.
