I never had a GAN 11 M pro or a GAN 12, but my friend has a GAN 11 M pro. I tried his cube and I like the 13 better. I never tried a 12. But the 13 is the best cube I've ever felt.
I wish I could afford the gan 12 maglev, I want it and have been watching so many videos about it but I can’t afford it cuz I’m a kid, have fun with it though! Edit 1: My mom said she’d pay for 20 dollars of it if I paid for the rest!!
The GAN 13 is also easier to adjust and it has 6 magnet settings instead of 3. It's so dang easy to the point that if you lost the adjustment tool, you could use a toothpick to adjust it. I lost my adjustment tool, so I use a toothpick to adjust it. *Here are the settings I use in my GAN 13. They feel great, try them* Magnet strength: 6 Maglev Compression: 4 Center travel: 1
You say there are no corner edge magnets, but that adjustment system in the corner actually adjusts the corner magnets which attract magnets in the edge. It's the same magnet system used in the Gan 11
@@CubeSolveHero Corner-edge magnet strength cannot be customized, but the magnets are there - the white plastic is transparent enough to even see them under the right lights. Similar to the 11M Pro, but I have to say the capsules and visualizing the magnets is just a cooler solution.

In the limited edition you can clearly see them and in this video you can also see corner and edge pieces sticking to each other. So yeah, it looks like the core magnets are closer to the center and the corner stock magnets are longer to make it attract the the core magnets on a wider range of angles, compared to the gan 11.
The GAN 13 has edge-core magnets. It only comes in maglev. But not a lot of people got the leap version of the 12, so they made it do that the GAN 13 only comes in maglev.
i have to disagree with you i know gan's cubes are expensive but nearly $80 just for a gann 1m with not corner edge magnets, uv coating and maglev is a to much, $75 for uv coated gan 11 mpro is streatching it a lot i wont spend $80 for 1 3x3 with maglev when there are already 2 3x3s that are less than half the price put together
The 356X is still a decent cube and to this day still my favorite, although I must admit the 11M Duo is very nice as well, it's only problem is that somehow it always feels dry. Get ready to end up using more lube in a week on it that you would use in months on the 356X or just about any other cube.
Really wish cubes would stop trending lighter. I miss gan cubes that felt sturdy. Doesn't matter how much cool tech they put into the cube, the lightness just makes it feel cheap imo.
I know this comment is 6 months too late but I personally like how light it is because I tend to do VERY long cubing sessions and heavier cubes tend to make it harder, although it would be cool if they added an option that did have a heavier plastic or smth for those who do want it
Honestly, I would never main a cube like this. Even if it was around $40 or so, I find customization on tension and magnet strength unnecessary. The UV coat and Maglev technology is nice, but it really won’t help with anything during solves. GAN cubes are a luxury (especially this one 😂) and even then they don’t fit my turning style. I think that customizable cubes are not for me, but they can be for someone else out there. Great review as always!

Therefore, I really like the GAN 12 and the GAN 13 adjustment system. Also, my times have gotten significantly better after I got the GAN 13. Before I got the 13, I averaged 1 minute 14 seconds. Now I average 46 seconds.
The pieces were so light that I didn’t think there were magnets present. Upon opening the piece just now, there are two very small ones up near the top of the piece

The weight of this cube is such low because of the thinner plastic. You can even see the tensioning blue thing with the centre caps on

I think you should just stick with the duo. The 11 is pretty much the same and the 12 has quite some weird quirks that you may not like

I should have clarified! There are no magnets in the traditional locations. The adjustment is for the corner stock magnet

I don't really like matte finish because it's slippery.
Also, I feel like the springs clamp down on my turning. Therefore, I better be using the GAN 12 or the GAN 13.
