Awesome tutorial. I wish there were examples of someone using redshift materials on a cloth tearing simulation. My redshift material has a vertex map to control it's appearance. Once I drop that object into the cloth surface, I lose all the vertex map info so now my material doesn't look the same.
@@VizualAnimation Hey thanks for the response. Yeah I resolved the issue. Instead of using a vertex map field to control the material, I just thew a cube inside of the field. I was then able to move the cube around to control where the material appears. From what I understand, when you put an object in a cloth surface, the vertices get rearranged, which is why my original vertex map field no longer worked. But if you simply use another object instead, you no longer have to rely on the vertices of the original object. Not sure if I explained it clearly but it works lol.
hey! Is there a way to tear the skin easily without using too much of the wind strength or turbulence? Talking about a subtle tear off, seems like it`s a bit of a headache in the new version
Yes you can use Target Length to allow the cloth to contract and tear much easier. You could also try using the Attractor or Field Force to tear with more control. I hope you get a good resolve.
and another !! excellent

I’m not an expert in Redshift, so I unfortunately can’t help with this. Have you managed to resolve it?

@@kickheavy8982 I did this with redshift and it came out fine. Are you talking about the original football from cinema?
Does cloth tear supports motion blur during rendering?

actually the old set up is working, it`s there, but it`s hidden now, had to active "Legacy solver" on a "Cloth Tag"
