Very nice and quick. What is the be-burring process? I work in aerospace and have had boards in with 'frilly' edges to the tracks. When you are trying to tune a stripline at centimetre wavelengths it is a nuisance when bits fall off the strip and shift the frequency.
Assuming that the soldering of the components will be done by people (and not by a robot) the possibility of this process end up resulting in some short circuit point(s) is too great!! You should have programmed the router to remove a larger area of copper around the tracks!
misleading video title: it should contain "expensive" as it involves the use of a commercial CNC tooling machine; a laser engraver is way cheaper and yields comparable precission and quality results
If you have a cheap 3d printer around adding a motor and small engraving bit is a prettycheap option. Should cost around ~200$ to get you the same results!
Does that mean, the parts of the copper that were etched out, are now isolated from the rest of the copper sheet? That way you don't get a short circuit?
With the right bits and low enough lateral cutting speeds, it works. Honestly, at that kind of spacing, soldering issues and bridging are more of a problem than the cutout of the traces.
