This is such awesome info - I always learn so much form you, thanks for taking the time to make this video!! You are the best!!
Thanks for the reply! We're so stoked we can help decorators out and have an entire team dedicated to your success. If you have anything specific you want covered or different challenges you face, just let us know!
I like the lesson very interesting
Thanks! We're always happy to help. If you have any specific questions just let us know here!
at the beginning, you talked about digital mockups. Where does one do those? I know Canva and Placeit are options, but they are somewhat limited. Is there a better (free) option for this?
Absolutely! We have our Easy View Online Designer at transferexpress.com that's free to use (to design and mockup) all you need is a free account. We have a great video detailing the whole process here: ua-cam.com/video/PVXJS6xrMcI/v-deo.html
very helpful
Thanks! We're always happy to help out!
Great webinar! Do you have a pdf with all that info to share with us?
Great question! We absolutely do, you can download the PDF version here right below the video thumbnail: www.transferexpress.com/videos/sizing-and-placement-trends
if the largest platen is 16x20 when your doing DTG printing can u still do 5XL or is that to small if your trying to print soccer team shirts
You should not adjust the design sizing for any team uniforms on larger sizes. If you adjust the size of the print, when the team is standing or photographed together the difference in graphic sizing is very apparent and does not look professional. 16 x 20 Is more than a large enough area for any size shirt.
In this video we printed the same size graphic on XS to 2XL and it looks fantastic: ua-cam.com/video/v6P2Xodtte4/v-deo.html
You are just too great with your explanations. My question is I want to go into t shirt printing business I have no idea and no Idea on printing please how can I start or how can you help please
Thanks Abayomi, we try to be as helpful as we can, things may sure seem complicated when you're just getting started, but it;s much easier than you think- Getting started is that hardest part! We do have tons of content here on our UA-cam channel that covers a lot of the information to get started:

Do you have a link for that mannequin? I feel like that would be really helpful to figure out sizing.
We sure do love our mannequins! I think this one came from Amazon- We'd recommend staying away from just the "front" versions that don't have the body on the backside- They're great for displays but the shirts don't fit and drape like they do on real people when you're trying to figure out placement.
Since mannequins can get kind of pricey, keep an eye out for retail store closures around you, the mannequins are typically included in the "everything must go" sales and you can pick them up for a great deal!
perfect presentation. why is it not possible to register from the Netherlands?????
We sure do appreciate the kind words, and we're always happy to help out apparel decorators in any way we can! Unfortunately, currently we don't ship outside the US, Canada and select Caribbean Islands- BUT, we do have some STAHLS' divisions in Europe ( stahlseurope.com/ )and The UK ( www.stahls.co.uk/ ) with very similar heat transfers and the identical equipment we have here at STAHLS' Transfer Express.
1. Is there a dtf with embroidery look video? Not embroidery.
Interesting in hat/beanies embroidery look and left chest.
2. What’s type of file do I need to upload to order gang sheet?
3. What if my images are not good? Do you guys fix it? And is there extra charge?
Any video links to my questions? Thanks
1. Absolutely! Check this video on printing with embroidery effects with Direct To Film: ua-cam.com/video/halL4ge9Y-4/v-deo.html
2. You can upload just about any file: pdf, png, tiff, psd, jpeg, ai, svg, etc!
3. If your file is not a high enough resolution or if you need any modifications to your artwork we can handle it for a $26 artwork help fee. The system ( www.transferexpress.com/designer ) will analyze your artwork and let you know if you need it.
Does the 11" apply to full back prints?
Yep! 11" wide is a great size for a full back print, although you can go larger up to 12-12.5" for an even larger print if you'd like. It should fit on most adult t-shirts from SM sizes and up.
R u guys locate in Texas? Your images are Texas’ attractions
We are not located in Texas, however, we spend a lot of time down in the lone star state for events and industry expos! You can learn when and where we'll be on our full event schedule here: www.transferexpress.com/events-schedule
As Transfer Express we have facilities in Ohio and Arizona, and we also have STAHLS' facilities in Michigan, Pennsylvania, the U.K. and Europe too!
If no pocket where do you put it ?
Great question! We have a video dedicated to just left chest print locations here: ua-cam.com/video/mzXZVxoWNUI/v-deo.html
I can't register with fast express from Africa
Sorry, we currently only serve the US, Canada and select islands in the Caribbean. You can check out stahlseurope.com/ for distribution to Europe & Africa!
14 minutes to embroider a patch ?? LOL
Sorry, we should have provided a little more context- I was quoting this video from the STAHLS TV UA-cam channel: ua-cam.com/video/8CjyUGp1v78/v-deo.html
Here Josh showcases the difference in production speed between traditional embroidery or heat-applied embroidered patches. The stitching for traditional embroidery took just under 14 minutes, compared to the 60 second production time with loading and unloading.
