We can all agree to blame one thing for Rayman spiralling downfall: RABBIDS Update: I have had a change of heart about voicing my anger not on the Rabbids character itself but the company UBISOFT itself now
The real culprit for Rayman's fall from grace is Ubisoft because when Rayman IV was about to become a reality, Ubisoft scrapped the idea since it was too gruesome for a Rayman game and the Wii's launch was on the horizon back in 2006 and despite Ray's 2011 & 2013 comeback, Ubisoft decided to abandon the franchise (not including the mobile games) and decided to milk the Rabbids and their other yearly franchises to death.
I wouldn't really blame Rabbids for it. Because since Rayman returned with Origins, the Rabbids departed from the Rayman franchise to have a spin-off series, which may seem fair for those who wanted to see Rayman again after his appearance from Raving Rabbids 2 than seeing goofy humanoid rabbits screaming around (btw I love Rabbids, they cute and funny). But the Rabbids are loved as well and some Rayman fans may like them, despite the Rabbids invading the franchise once.

We can all agree to blame one thing for Rayman spiralling downfall: RABBIDS
Update: I have had a change of heart about voicing my anger not on the Rabbids character itself but the company UBISOFT itself now
The real culprit for Rayman's fall from grace is Ubisoft because when Rayman IV was about to become a reality, Ubisoft scrapped the idea since it was too gruesome for a Rayman game and the Wii's launch was on the horizon back in 2006 and despite Ray's 2011 & 2013 comeback, Ubisoft decided to abandon the franchise (not including the mobile games) and decided to milk the Rabbids and their other yearly franchises to death.

@@MaziMayaz101 I always thought the Rabbids started off as their own franchise, but after seeing the history of Rayman and the injustice Ubisoft has done to Rayman, Rayman deserves to be sold to a developer that cares about it's franchises like Activision who has brought Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon back and Insomniac Games who is also bringing back Ratchet & Clank with Rift Apart in 2021
Edit 2022: On second thought, both Activision and Ubisoft don't deserve to own franchises like Crash, Spyro, or even Rayman. I hope that justice is served to those who were affected by Activision's and Ubisoft's toxic work culture and that the offenders pay for their crimes
