Earthwise electric tiller. TC70001 Earthwise Electric Tiller.
Earthwise 11-Inch 8.5-Amp Corded Electric Tiller and Cultivator TC70001 Review And Demonstration.
The Earthwise electric tiller is a lightweight yet powerful machine that does much more than expected from an electric tiller cultivator. The earthwise tc70001 packs a powerful punch and can break through tough weeds and soil. The tiller has strong steel tines and a strong motor to prepare garden soil for planting, or break apart compacted soil for reseeding a lawn. The Earthwise electric tiller is only 11 inches and can maneuver between rows of plants for easy weeding of an existing garden. Since it's an electric tiller there is no need to worry about gas and oil or fumes. This garden tiller moves with ease though the dirt and is very light weight. I was very happy with the product and would recommend the Earthwise electric tiller to anyone, from a novice gardener to the most experienced. I like the light weight of this tiller compared to some other electric tillers on the market such as the black and decker or the tiller joe. I also love the price of this electric tiller and cultivator compared to the mantis 2-cycle plus. I think this tiller has more power and control than the sun joe 12 inch electric garden tiller. I thought about getting a smaller tiller like the aardvark 2.5 amp electric garden tiller to clear weeds between plants, yet I find it very easy for the Earthwise electric garden tiller to fit almost anywhere. It is strong, powerful and compact and has a price that can't be beat. Learn more about this electric tiller here. amzn.to/2rgHQgd

Love this thing and it is very well made for the price
Mine was just delivered today. Thanks for the lesson. I feel comfortable using it now.
I'm new to tillers and this video really gave me a good idea of what I'll be doing and how to use a tiller. Thank you!
I have the 13.5 amp model & it does Not like rocks or roots; when it hits them it tends to jump. I have heavy clay soil & the tiller would pack the tines against the guard with clay; I solved this issue by bending the rear of the guard up out of the way so the clay could be ejected out of the rear & with work I can till at liest 8 inches deep. I tried using a big 8 horsepower rear tine tiller & it was far worse in that it would pack solid with clay & it would only till ~ 6 inches deep! The bottom line is that for the $ it's a great tiller!!!
I just got mine today. Can't wait to put it together and try it out!
I really like mine. Who would have thought that tilling could be fun, yet that's how I describe it. Best piece of advice is to let it walk you forward and then pull back through the soil. Seems to work best that way. I usually do a pass with the wheels down, and then raise them and make another pass. Enjoy... Let me know how it works for you.
Eddie Got Funny Jokes Well it's extremely dry here and I only got about a half inch down before it started kicking. I figure I'll run the sprinkler an hour and then try again. It surely is a powerful mini-beast! I can't believe how light it is and yet it just about sent me flying across the yard.
When my garden tilled the ground first I used my weed eater first.
This little thing is perfect for any home I just got it and was amazed
Thanks, the wheel flip-up feature is what mine doesn't have, and it's a great one.
Do you rake away the roots and shreds before planting anything?
Yes, very easy to rake everything away and have clean dirt for planting. Works great.
does the plant matter need to be picked out? asking so I know what to do
I did rake the plants and roots from the dirt after tilling so they would not take root again. It worked great. Thanks for watching.
Would this machine be adequate to prepare my soil for a new lawn that I'm going to plant? Or do I need something more heavy-duty?
+Matt Simon Probably depends on how large of an area you will be preparing. It does dig through the weeds and grass pretty well. But if your new yard is large, you may want something wider.
Are the blades plastic made or metal?
Metal.
