- Have you heard of Kosovo? It's one of my favorite hidden gems in Europe, and I’m so excited to be back here for a 2nd visit! This time, I’m showing you what $10 USD can get you in this super affordable, yet incredibly unique country. From delicious local food to cultural experiences and even some unexpected surprises, I managed to stretch my money way further than you'd expect -- seriously, the value for your money here is insane!
In this video, I explore the vibrant streets of Prizren, diving into the local culture and trying out some authentic Kosovar dishes that are packed with flavor but super cheap. You’ll see how far $10 goes when it comes to food, transportation, and even a little souvenir shopping.
Kosovo isn’t just about affordability, though. The culture, the people, and the unique blend of history and modernity make it one of the coolest places to visit in the Balkans. Fun fact the Sinan Pasha mosque in Prizren was built from the stone used from the monastery of Holy Archangels which was one of the most beautiful churches ever built.

Love Prizren, one of the best kept secrets in Europe. Everything was so cheap, the food was great and the people were wonderful to us (English/Slovene couple).

That's unfortunately false, in 2004 Muslim Albanians went on a rampage spree and they damaged, vandalized and destroyed several Serbian Orthodox Churches
Unfortunately false, as i am one of around 150'000 Albanian catholics of kosovo, mostly spread in the south eastern area of kosovo
And the repression my family and my ancestora faced up from 1950s to the 1990s was madness, they were not allowed to go to school, the serbs destroyed our churches and wanted to erase catholicism from kosovo
Even tehe biggest massacre that happened in kosovo was in the muncipality of Gjakova in the Catholic Village of Meja, were more than 370 unarmed men and wonen were raped burned and slaughtered like animals by the serbian Terror troups, most of the victims eere Albanian catholics.
Thanks for nothing i hate this shit it hurts my sould, because i lost at least 2 family members the last 4 generations because of serbian repression.

I went in 2018 and it was impossible to find any souvenirs with the Kosovo flag on it. There was only Armenia stuff. I was only able to find something in the airport. The fact that there is a whole tourist shop now is an awesome thing
