@@TehButterflyEffect Module DMG is tied to caliber, and it has low alpha high caliber gun and you roll 3x for a mod dmg in 2s. Same with chi-ri, which is one of the best tanks to farm fire missions.
the reason why u have so many ammo racks in this specific tank is because of the very small intra shell time means as soon the 1 shell damages the ammo rack the other 1 instantly explode it , while in case of autoloaders like the tvp 100 have to aim for the second shell , that hit somewhere else not in the spot where ammo rack is damaged.
Yes, no, and not really. The modules, internal and external, have a varying value chances of being damaged and they are as follows: tracks: 100% engine: 45% fuel tanks: 45% viewports : 45% radio: 45% turret ring: 45% gun: 33% , crew : 33% ammo racks: 27%. Deadeye skill increases these chances by 3%. The crew have 0 hp, and die upon being hit and the 33% chance rolling. The other modules have varying hp based on tier, class and specific tank. Usually around tier 10 the fuel tanks have 200~ hp , and ammo racks have 200-300hp on most tanks, while various guns do 120-190 module damage depending on alpha ( only 750+ alpha guns have over 200 module damage). If you hit a fuel tank once, you usually won't destroy it no matter what your module damage is, just make it orange... But fuel tanks still have a fire chance even just when just turning orange, usually 8-15% depending on if its a gasoline engine or diesel, which you can read in the garage, only if you get the fuel tanks to red they have a 100% to catch fire! Ammo rack has more hp and no extra hp effect at all unless red... Although you can't survive once it does, unlike tank fires. So yeah, no matter how well you aim, or how many shots you hit on the module and in that area, its all up to chance! There's a few catches though. First of all, a shell paints a vector inside the tank, and can damage multiple modules. Since there's two, and sometimes more fuel tanks, and usually FOUR OR MORE ammo racks in a tank, you can shoot through MULTIPLE ones, and then you get a double roll on that module (dunno if you can get a triple). Single hit on a fuel tank only gives you 8-15% to set it on fire, so, its 45% (or 48% with deadeye) x 8-15% (less if you're using auto fire extinguisher since it lowers the chance of fires), that's roughly 7-3.5% probability, really rather low. On a double fuel tank hit though, your probability to hit both and thus destroy it and set fire with 100% probability is 20~% without deadeye, and 23~% with it, that's rather high! This chance to shoot through both fuel tanks at the same time/ through both ammo racks at the same time is best when shooting at a tank's side. Now, considering this thing gets 3 shots per clip, and 2 clips, your chance to set a tank on fire, given you keep hitting that double module, is 3x20/23%, which is something like 28-35% (don't have the ass to calculate), so just from one clip you have a very rough 28-35% chance or so to set on fire if you hit all three in a double fuel tank, that's rather often (depending on enemy, their tank, crew and modules, auto fire extinguisher, also your presence of deadeye skill)! But you get TWO such clips, so, i'd say all in all that's at least 30% to set on fire regardless what you do, and up to like 50%! There also seems to be a mechanic which increases fire chance (and possibly module damage) upon multiple hits, but idk if its real and how to calculate it, but that'd put this thing as even more of a threat. With ammo rack the chances are about two thirds/half of these... But that's still rather frequent. And that's without considering said mechanic.
Na not really that feeling only comes when the playing field is level and you outplayed them with skill. Thats when i enjoy messages like that, not when i am playing the next flavour of op premium tanks.
You don't have to. On most tanks ammo is stored in the middle of the hull or turret (back of the turret aswell) Going further a lot of soviet meds have fuel tanks in the front, many germans have engine fires on the lower plate (Nazi era tanks). In general, most tanks have fuel tanks and engines at the back.
There is also a legal mod that changes all the skins and tells you where to shoot the ammo and the engines, it's good to learn at the start but you misses all the skins and cammoflages and that takes you our a bit of the game.
@@swinegods lol, why so rude? Still a weird layout to have the fuel tanks there. Makes more sense to have ammo stored under the turret instead, so the loader can access it easily. I'm pretty sure it's a blueprint tank and it could be acurate to the blueprints anyway. Another weird things wg does is with some german tanks for example that have the transmission in the front and I think it at least used to be the case that they could catch on fire when the transmission is hit, because the game counts it as an engine hit.
2:30 is just unfair🤣 2 fires lmao But not the most I’ve seen on one tank though. Few years ago saw a tiger get caught on fire 3 times in a match. That shit was crazy to see. Put out fire quick the first time, second time took a bit but he had some hp left. Third one took him out.

I swear this is why Deadeye is borderline OP, especially when used at high caliber or autoloader/reloader tanks.
It just increases chance by like 3% or something minor. Its more about taking 3 goddang shells at once
@@FlyLeah It also has to do with the amount of crit damage each shell can do. It's a hidden stat. This tank seems to have higher crit damage.
