My old Rendezvous had the traverse mounted V6, I called the dealership to ask how to replace the firewall side spark plugs. They said you’re gonna want to bring it in because we have to remove the top front bone motor mounts and rotate the engine forward to access those plugs. Never did replace those plugs, it ran great for 228000 miles before I donated it to to a veteran’s group. Good job on the water pump.

That is crazy anyone would think it was OK to make a design like that. That Traverse will be ready for plugs sometime this year. Maybe Ill do a video on it if it takes all that. Thanks for watching!

I have a 2010 enclave. I seem to remember when I changed the engine torque strut under the fuse box there was prudy good access to the water pump. That being said you have to remove the fuse box and the torque strut. Sometimes I'd like to kick some engineers in the nuts. ;)

Let me tell you. Some of these designs leave me scratching my head. Between EPA ruining the diesel engine with all the emissions needed and simple parts requiring a motor practically needing to come out to replace, that cars feel disposable now. What will be a classic car from this generation? Thanks for watching!

I wish you had shown how you put the bolts back. That is a lot of money to spend for one bolt. I was not taking it to a shop though. My battery is charging. My Harbor Freight was out of the single battery, battery chargers. No other Harbor freights close enough to spend the time and gas to go travel where there was a store that had one in stock. I hope they aren't selling these out for another line of tools and ending this line of tools. Something I have seen them do before.

Lol, an engineer who's never worked on a car. Thanks for watching!
