There's a stationary/art shop here in the UK called Cult Pens, and they do advent calendars. One is based on Japanese stationery, with another based on stationery from around the world. I think it would be really interesting to see you review one of them (they ship internationally)

I saw those! Unfortunately I’m more of a fountain pen person rather than general stationery - or rather - I LOVE all stationery but hardly use anything at all these days, so I’ve banned myself from buying non-fountain pen stuff as much as possible… So I decided those were not for me.

I am still debating whether to buy that or not… I bought for the past two years and have not really used them… I have wayyyy too many inks to use in my lifetime. Will still probably end up buying though… >
I think it would be a good idea for Arteza to put together multiple advent calendars to choose from with different art themes so you can get art supplies you know you'll use.

I love the getting supplies that don’t just lead up to one project I feel like I could use these mixed in with my other art supplies
Me too I just wish the colors were more varied..there were kinda a lot of repeats, a gold pen, water color and paint pen, a silver pen, watercolor and paint, a blue paint pour and water color and two of the brushes were kinda the same size even though one is angled and another is flat idk if that really makes them all that different...
Agreed. I feel by the time I get all the supplies I have no more energy left for the season.
I really like being able to see the contents of these calendars and having somebody who can hold them in person giving their opinion - it helps a lot in figuring out if they're a good present
What I liked about this video:
Is that the calendar gave options. Which is nice for when someone may like a certain kind of thing but are allowed to try new things to see if they like it without a huge commitment. I like watercolors but I’ve never done a paint pour. Having the variety allows for experimenting while also having the chance for things you already know you would use.
I like how this calendar has a good variety of supplies that you can still use together in different ways. I liked about the video that you included how you used these, and it wasn’t only an unboxing video ❤
I love that it's mixed, gives an option to try something you may not thought of before. And maybe a way of mixing things up.

What I like about the video:
I loved how you were so excited to open something traditionally Christmassy super early so we would be able to get to it before they went out of stock^^ I find that incredibly sweet! I really loved the image of the box, it's super pretty and inspired me to doodle a little winter scene. Also, I am also a silica hoarder (I've dropped my phone in water so much that I keep it on hand lol) Hope you're doing well!!!
I actually enjoy it when boxes like this are a little random it makes you use a little more imagination!

What I love about this video: The fact that you show your raw mistakes, and how to shrug it off and keep going, and getting distracted, it's so natural, even when you realized you were making a video and it must look professional, you're still human. Your videos make me feel like I don't need to be perfect in order to make art.

You make advent calenders look worth the money! I'm not too into Christmas, but these arteza calenders look so fun and arent christmas themed. I love that you show us the contents so early. Also, the relatable and honest commentary is perfect!

I love this advent calendar! My favorite thing is they included multiple paintbrushes and multiple projects. I want to be able to use my art supplies for more than one thing. Your Christmas pudding is so cute!! Love it!

what I like most about this video is the fact that the Avent calendar is giving you things to do many projects. I'm that kind of person. I'd much rather have multiple mediums than one cohesive project kit.
Pour Art Tip: Mix the pouring medium with a paint color and some water (1 part of each). For bigger pieces, coat the canvas in a background color (most people start with black or white, but anything goes!), then pour your colors on top and tilt like you did on the small canvases. I would love to see you try this technique on larger pieces or different objects. I've done vases, jars, pieces of wood and boxes with this technique.
What I liked about this video was her 'the show must go on' mentality. She has to get a closeup shot? She physically moves the tripod. She doesn't have enough string for the ornament? She goes to the next door. She can't open a cardboard door? She cuts to an ad. The video started with a warning not to mix orange paint, dogs, and a carpeted floor. It was pure comedic gold!
I love how they make it so interactive. They give you the supplies and prompts. Its so cool.
I like how you show the reality when opening these boxes. It’s very relatable to me when I’m trying to open an advent calendar.
Is it just me or does the bottom of the plum pudding have a shimmer to it? I think it's adorable. I love the marbling effect of the paint pouring. The first time I did paint pouring I made a solid color of mud. Needless to say it's not hanging up anywhere. Thanks for sharing this Advent calendar and I appreciate the fun of play with which you approach the projects. Blessings.
What I loved about this video was that you were very honest about the calendar. I like that it has lots of variety so I can do more than one project and that I can experiment with different mediums .
I love that I am living vicariously through you for this one! Struggling with the doors is very relatable though. That's why when I opened my last advent calendar I would lightly (and carefully) run over the perforations with a craft knife to make life easier.
I think it is nice that it gives you multiple projects though. I tend to lose focus if I don't have the ability to work on a project whenever I am able to.
What I loved about this video was how helpful Chloe is for things even like calendars because every year I try to get an interesting calendar but by the time I remember it's too late

Since this advent calendar is made for artist, I think the blend of products it’s what makes it nice. Like you open one each day and use the art supply as an inspiration to create something with what you already have. At least that’s how I’d use it 😂.
And one of the things I liked about the video is the little pudding painting. It turned out really cute ❤
What I like about this video is that I learned about some British things like Christmas pudding that we don’t eat in the US. Also Chloe is hilarious and lifted my spirit while I was home sick.
I love that your doing these videos again! I like that it’s mixed products because it suits an advent calendar vibe. If it was products for one project I would prefer to buy a craft box, looking forward to the next advent calendar videos!

Can’t believe it’s nearly time to open advent calendars again. It was good to see what art supplies are in this calendar, I liked the fact that there was lots of different projects in it. I enjoy watching your videos, seeing what projects you do. I live in the UK and enjoyed watching your recent videos shopping for crafts here in our craft shops.
My favorite thing about your videos is always the slightly fly by the seat of your pants feeling you exude - you make me feel so much better about my own similar approach to life, thank you! ❤I also really appreciate not only seeing what was in the advent calendar, but what you were able to actually make with it. I feel like for me personally, $80 would be too much for something like that. It's the kind of thing I'd enjoy as a gift but wouldn't buy. That said, I like the fact that you can make more than one project with it; I would definitely prefer several smaller projects over one big time-consuming one.

My favorite part of this video was when Chloe came across the silica backet and was so excited for and was like “these are good”. And I also like how excited she was for the advent calendar and advent calendars seem really fun I would definitely like to open some. It was also so cool the the pine green paint was the exact same color as the shirt she was wearing! I would love to get your doodles as stickers and every piece you made in the video looked amazing! I honestly just love advent calendars in general . Art is a huge plus !
I like the variety, but it's way too expensive. I think it'd be fun to recreate with cheaper supplies bought loose at a hobby shop or dollar store
Totally agree, you could make a few for the price of this calender.
That’d be fun, could even make your own advent calendar like I did with my sister as kids 😛 can be made out of anything depending on your budget; paper, card, boxes, little bags or whatever 😛
The packaging would be more expensive than anything in this case.
As you get supplies during the year. Wrap them and tag with a number. By the time December rolls around you can open them again and remember what you already had

I love how you are able to keep the suspense up throughout the video. After watching this i am going to probably by this advent calendar.
The hexagonal canvas would be good for drawing a snowflake over your poured background. White, blue and silver are nice snowy colors.

I love your excitement, and the buzz you were getting from opening all the doors on the calender in one day. You were as happy as a kid in a candy store. Also I really liked how you arranged opening the calendar before December, just so we could get one ourselves, that was very thoughtful of you Chloe, thank you for that.
I love your videos Chloe. Honestly, they brighten my day and make me smile. Thank you for that too. The paint pouring on those mini canvases came out well, and I think the glitter was nice on both the pudding and the little tree but not on the triangle canvas, that turned out looking a little rough lol. It was pretty glitter though to be fair.
You need Floertol for the acrylic pouring. It makes the pretty cells that you sell. You just mix about 20% Floertol to 80% paint and that's how you make the beautiful pouring paintings you've seen.
What i loved about the box was the pens with paint inside. They look so beautiful and easy to use.
Seeing this, I will make my own DIY advent calendar with art materials I want, better than chocolate. It would be a good project where a friend packs my things and I pack theirs-so the surprise is still there. Making the boxes is very expensive for the companies (thick paper, full colour printing, the cut outs, the dotted doors,etc) so the cost of the art materials is a fraction of the price. DIY for m this year it is!
I so appreciate videos like this on advent calendars that cost a bit more because I’m the past I’ve spent a lot of money only to be disappointed (it was a beauty one) so thank you 🥰
I do like how it seems themed towards making little ornaments, that's very sweet/fun. Those canvases would make cute little ornaments on a tree! I do like the variety of mediums, but I think gouache would have been more fitting than pouring acrylic imo.
I LOVE ADVENT CALENDARS! I never got an art one though. I think its alright that it has different types of paints. Especially if someone is just starting out in the field and isn't quite sure as to which medium to dive into. This is going on my wish list for sure 😁

You're real, you have problems, you're not perfect..... Cuz nobody is everybody has problems and I love that you show some of the little flaws that you sometimes have like everybody else. I like that there is a variety..it could be a good jumping off kit for someone who would like a variety of supplies to play with and see what they might enjoy 😊but the price…does feel a little high for what you get.

What I loved most was…….the monster holly leaves on that super cute Christmas pudding! They were more like antlers but being Chloe rose it looked amazing. I could never justify £80 on an advent calendar, so watching you do it was great.❤️
Omg haha this video was great I love that you include your mistakes in your videos it makes starting artists or insecure artists like myself feel more comfortable knowing a well established artist still makes mistakes or goofy outcomes and they're still an artist who makes amazing works as well!
I really like that you tested the supplies as well as viewed them. That was a nice surprise as (in my experience) that's usually not the case in these kinds of videos. Personally, I much prefer for there to be materials for more than one project, considering it's a calendar, and you'd have only a few supplies at a time, to enjoy. Plus, the wider range means that if you dislike one of the mediums, you won't automatically dislike the whole calendar.
